  • Love Is A Difficult Thing

I wish I could just tell her, “I love you”.

Well, anyways, today I uploaded my final documents for Voc Rehab. I also just sent the documents off. Hopefully, this time I will be accepted. Third times the charm. Anyways, I was wondering how you are doing? Did you have a good day today. Did you get done what you expected?

My Dad and me tried to make peanut butter fudge today. But what happened? Is that the peanut butter tasted like garbage. I had Taco Bell and Pepsi after testing the peanut butter, and it ruined them. Gross. Unfortunately, my Dad wasted the ingredients, by going ahead and making the fudge. He threw it out, later. Thank God! I mean that in the most senser way, too. Because that peanut butter was awful! I went to the store and bought Jiffy, so tomorrow we might make another batch.

Right now I am listening to the most beautiful music in the whole world. Bach! It never gets old, you know. I remember listening to Bach’s Brandenburg Concertos when I was a kid. I would fall asleep to them. So, I played it the other night, and went right to sleep.

I have been reading Luke for Advent. Its interesting how even Mary did not believe who Jesus was. Oh, don’t take my word for it. Read in Luke 8: 19 His mother and his brothers came to see Him. But they couldn’t meet Him because of the crowd. 20 Someone told Jesus, “Your mother and brothers are standing outside. They want to see you”. 21 He answered them, “My mother, and my brothers are those who hear and do what God’s word says”.

Mary saw the Angel, and the Angel told Mary what would happen, who Jesus is. Yet, even she did not believe, at the time. It is easy to fall into doubt, about who Jesus is. We must be more watchful.

  • Salmon Burgers and City Hall

Years ago, the VA recommended Salmon for me. Because of the fish oil. I began eating Salmon patties from Kroger, but the Kroger I go to quit selling them. I searched for years, and years. I finally found a Kroger that sells exactly the kind of Salmon patty I was looking for. I bought two packages. Plus, my Dad had buns, and I ordered more buns as well.

That was my salmon cooking, I used olive oil, and cooked them for about ten minutes, flipping them over after a few. They were delicious. I never thought I would find my salmon patties, but here we are. I am following up on the VAs advice all those years ago. Maybe I will start to feel healthier. I already do, actually.

That was for a late lunch. I eat irregularly, because I consider myself on a diet. I prefer to eat one big meal a day, and a couple smaller meals. This is to prevent snacking in between meals, which can make you fat. I have gained a lot of weight, but then again I am eating differently. Perhaps, I need to start getting some exercise as well.

Its been a while since I last worked. I hope dispatch has not forgotten me. I worry about that. One reason, I worry about it, is because I want to be able to go back to school. I want to finish my school so that I can help the city of Arlington.

I spent 13 years in the United States Navy. I did my service for America. Now, I want to do service for Arlington. Its where I have gone to school, its where I have lived for the most part of coming on a decade here soon. I really have always liked Arlington, it seems accessible, and it has a positive environment, if you want to work. There are a good number of parks, and recreational sites as well. Perhaps some of those need cleaning up.

Because of my interest in service, to the city of Arlington, I went by City Hall, and this is something I found. But first, before I can run for city council, I need to finish my degree, I believe. But nevertheless, I want to run for City Council and help my city to grow, and to become a little better organized. I want to represent Jesus anywhere that I go, as well.

I also found the library, and I got my library card from there. At first my library card was registered under a different name: Poppy. Hmm. I wonder what was up with that. Well, anyways the lady at the front desk issued me a new library card, and had me sign it with a sharpy. I hope that was ok.

I also discovered the Map Room at City Hall. I saw it on the right, as I entered from Abrams. At first I couldn’t find parking, so I parked at UTA. I had not been there in so long. My journey to City Hall helped direct me in the right path- to finish school.

Then, at City Hall I discovered that you can request your birth certificate. After that, you can take that, and begin getting your passport at the library. Its actually, directly behind City Hall.

After I visited with my Mom, for a while, I came back home. I determined to complete a project I had been meaning to finish. About a month ago, I ordered a chair from Walmart. I had an inclination to put it together today. It is a desk chair, and is it comfortable! I just followed the instructions and put the chair together, just like it said, the instructions were easy to follow. Now I am writing to you from my chair.

That is what the chair looks like. I felt a sense of accomplishment after finishing it, and seeing how it looks. It feels comfortable too, and when I brought it up stairs, I had to move stuff out of the way. Then, I brought my laptop upstairs as well. This made it so I am a little more complete now.

In conclusion, I got a lot done today, but it was stuff I put off. Now, I want to share a song I found on YouTube:
