This title is a quote from Winston Churchill. I have to share another quote from Winston Churchill tonight! “Britain will never, never, never surrender!” That is what Winston Churchill said to the British people, and to Hitler, during the Nazi bombing of London. Hitler and the Nazis could not defeat the United Kingdom, so neither will the terrorists! Oh, yes, they will gain control of the government, the military, even the nukes- for a time! But a day will come where they will regret ever laying eyes upon Dover! Trust in the Lord, for He is good!
Great Britain had an impact in this world, for the sake of Jesus. Jesus will remember His friends. Jesus loves true, heartfelt repentance. I believe the British people, need to repent, and return to Jesus! There first love.
I am writing this post, because during my time playing Europa Universalis III, trying to form Germany, England always ends up an ally, and in a Personal Union with Prussia. So, I think about these things while I play the game. Something I have noticed, is, when England is defeated, she becomes weak!
But Britain, will never surrender. In fact, Great Britain will rise again, someday, when her original colonial powers realize the impact she had, for the sake of Christ Jesus! She spread the English language. Was there abuse of power? Oh, certainly there was! Anytime someone has absolute power, there will be corruption. For sure! This is a part of living in a fallen world. “For all have fallen short of the glory of God”, is in the Bible I read!
Because of the inspiration from there relatives in England, the Germans will have a victory too! Someday, there will be British and German victories again! Because these countries first loved Jesus Christ. But they loved Him, because He first loved them. I have for seen it! Jesus will be victorious! God bless you, and thank you for reading this!!
The LORD knows the way of righteous people, but the way of wicked people will end
So, this week has been filled with nothing but work. I have had little time to enjoy World of Warcraft. I have not read much either. I invested in an unfruitful relationship with a young woman. Unfortunately, things did not work out. I feel, she may have just been after money. She wanted $25. Of course, with my current finances I could not oblige. She asked me not to contact her again. This is unfortunate to me.
This happened Wednesday night. It was just after I got paid. But I have bills to pay, so I could not oblige her. I really wanted to though. I really felt she was my link to experience a certain kind of life. She was pretty, and very savvy.
I started back on my course with Hillsdale College. Hillsdale college offers free college level courses, on different subjects. One of which, I took was Ancient Christianity. It took a while, but finally we ended up at St. Augustine, who wrote “The City of God”, insinuating that though, Rome had fallen, the City of God is eternal. He also pointed out, that Rome had fallen once before. The work, was based on Psalm 48. I wanted to share a particular passage from that Psalm, that the professor read:
Psalm 48:4-7
The Kings have gathered. They march together. When they saw Mount Zion they were astonished. They were terrified and ran away in fear. Trembling seized them like the trembling that a woman experiences during labor. With the east wind you smashed the ships of Tarshish.
I shared this, because as I mentioned, City of God by the author St, Augustine was based on this Psalm, and this particular passage. So, descriptive of how God deals with His enemies- He doesn’t have to do anything. They will tremble in fear, when they witness him.
I also learned about the back and forth between the sons of Constantine. Constantine the II, Constance, and Constan who all were fighting for the throne. To be emperor of Rome. I also learned in detail about Constantine’s vision of Jesus, telling him to conquer under this sign. The sign of the cross was emblazoned on the shields of his soldiers- and he won the Battle. Also the Edict of Molan. Which granted tolerance towards the Christians, for the first time in the West, and in the Roman Empire. This change was warranted, said the professor, because of the profound influence of Christians throughout the Roman Empire. They were soldiers, and courtesians who all worshipped Jesus now. But Constantine did not become baptized until he was on his death bed.
Also, Constantine founded his capital, not in Rome, but in the city of Constantinople. Which he built, for his name sake. This city was later captured by the Ottoman Empire in 1453! It was renamed Istanbul. Because I ended up discussing the story of Constantinople and Istanbul, I guess it is only fair to share this song:
Thank you for reading my blog! God bless you. Enjoy the music.
Disgruntled by there defeat this November, the powers that be have picked a fight with First Baptist at Dallas church. I opened my UTA e-mail, and found this note from First Baptist Dallas:
You may have seen in the media that a lawsuit was filed against First Baptist Dallas involving allegations of sexual abuse between two minors. Below is the statement we have issued in response to the lawsuit:
First Baptist Church of Dallas categorically denies any allegations of impropriety. The alleged incident involved sexual activity between two male teenage parishioners. Immediately upon learning of the subject allegation, it was reported to the necessary applicable law enforcement agencies. After extensive investigations, including interviews with eyewitnesses, each law enforcement agency indicated this was consensual sexual activity and closed any and all respective cases. – First Baptist Church of Dallas
It sounds like a setup to me. They are ramping up the persecution of the First Baptist of Dallas Church. That is Dr. Robert Jeffress church.
Today is another day. i already smoked, and i have my coffee. Now for some writing. i hope this writing prepares me for going back to school.
Scott called today. We talked for a good long while. Scott is applying back to work at Pepsi, but he is still working at Captain D’s. He said he will only work one day a week at Pepsi. He has to hire through a temp agency. i am so proud of Scott for not giving up.
Max is resting on the bed. The room is a mess. But i did pick it up a little bit about a week ago. That was before i went to watch the movie. i was reading in my Bible a little bit. i found a passage, another one from Philippians, which stuck out to me.
Philippians 3:17 “Brothers and sisters, imitate me, and pay attention to those who live by the example we have given you. 18 I have often told you, and now tell you with tears in my eyes, that many live as the enemies of the cross of Christ. 19 In the end they will be destroyed. Their own emotions are their god, and they take pride in the shameful things they do. Their minds are set on worldly things. 20 We, however, are citizens of heaven. We look forward to the Lord Jesus Christ coming from heaven as our Savior. 21 Through his power to bring everything under his authority, he will change our humble bodies and make them like his glorified body.”
When I cannot think of what to write, i just turn to scripture. It is the truth, and something to write about. i have to admit, i am not fully certain of what Paul is speaking about here. But he wants the Philippian church to imitate himself. He also wants them to look to the others who set an example for them. He warns against those who live as enemies against the cross. it sounds like these were people inside the church of Philippi. They were not living according to the instructions of Paul, and those who he wanted them to live by example. Paul includes the Church of Philippi as citizens of heaven, in verse 20.
i watched a film the other day. It was titled Maybe I’ll Come Home In The Spring. It starred Sally Fields, when she was really young. She ran away from home. Later, her boyfriend shows up, and her sister also ran off. The film was released on television in 1971. Sally Fields ran away to Los Angeles and spent time among the hippies. It was a “period drama”, which highlighted the way that they lived back then. At one point, Dennie’s boyfriend steals an ice cream truck, and gives all the ice cream away to the kids. Very funny scene.
Lorelie, from the Philippines, sends her regards. She started chatting me at about 3:20 AM. i checked my UTA e-mail. Nothing significant. More Trump e-mails. That Trump- he just never gives up. Speaking of Trump, Trump had this to say about the FBI raid on Mar-a-Lago: They also took my personal tax records (this is ILLEGAL) and lawyer-client privileged information – a definite NO, NO. This reminds me of the Soviet Union!

Each day that goes by, i find myself a little discouraged over Stephanie. i wish i had heard from her. i must admit, that i don’t want to haring her though. i wish that she would willingly chat with me. i could ask her about school. How the weather is, how she is doing. But she never gives me the chance too ask about these things. i’ve missed you something terrible all these years. Why do you torture me so?
Time to refresh my coffee. Lorelie is talking about vlogging, now. Instead of blogging. You can make money vlogging. Sounds intriguing. These are a couple of vlog’s she shared:
They are based in the Philippines. Anyways, maybe you might be interested in them. So, i shared the images of them here. Now, you can find them. These are just some samples, Lorelie shared some others too.
Anyways, this is just another brief message. Have a good morning. i might need to look into vlogging. But i don’t really have anything to vlog about- except for Stephanie. i could blog about Trump too. School, or work. But those things are uninspiring to me, right now.
i found out about this series on YouTube. i like that it is history, and shared it here. This is just one of the incredible videos that this producer makes, about History. They always show a spectrum of history, usually something from the American Civil War, World War I, and World War II. Sometimes, things in between those events in history. Well, enjoy.
