  • The Swamp Strikes Back!!!

Disgruntled by there defeat this November, the powers that be have picked a fight with First Baptist at Dallas church. I opened my UTA e-mail, and found this note from First Baptist Dallas:

You may have seen in the media that a lawsuit was filed against First Baptist Dallas involving allegations of sexual abuse between two minors. Below is the statement we have issued in response to the lawsuit:

First Baptist Church of Dallas categorically denies any allegations of impropriety. The alleged incident involved sexual activity between two male teenage parishioners. Immediately upon learning of the subject allegation, it was reported to the necessary applicable law enforcement agencies. After extensive investigations, including interviews with eyewitnesses, each law enforcement agency indicated this was consensual sexual activity and closed any and all respective cases. – First Baptist Church of Dallas

It sounds like a setup to me. They are ramping up the persecution of the First Baptist of Dallas Church. That is Dr. Robert Jeffress church.

  • John

The movie. It is titled: The Life Of Jesus. I am watching it, now. I am not very far in. It is the part where Jesus chases the money changers out of the Temple. I have seen this movie before. I am watching it on YouTube. You know, I may have to reschedule my appointment tomorrow, but I am going to watch this movie. I love Jesus. He is my Master and my friend.

I came to Jesus at Billy Graham, in 2002. Just before I went into the NAVY. In 2007, I was just living life how I thought I should- and suddenly a change occurred. I quit going out. Certain songs, I no longer want to hear. Taste in movies and shows changed too. I believe it is the Holy Spirit. After I tried going out again, but it just was never the same. I was not always faithful to God. But I can see He was always faithful to me, taking care of me, even when I was in the NAVY.

Jesus is in His ministry now. He as at the well with the Samaritan woman. This part is really touching to me. This is where Jesus says, “Salvation is of the Jews”. I keep this in mind. If Salvation is of the Jews- Israel then we should br praying for Israel. Not condemning it. Jesus is the Messiah. But these people did not understand that at the time. But now we know, because of the Bible.

    The Bible

I saw a meme once, that explained they do not really know where the Bible came from. I found this meme to be encouraging, because to often they give credit to mere mortals for crafting the Bible- usually for nefarious purposes. But if they do not know where the Bible came from- maybe that is the sign that the Bible is from GOD- they don’t know where it came from. It came from God. Like when Paul named the “unknown God” in Athens. The Athenians had been worshipping God all along, and they did not even know it.

Now, Jesus is healing the man at the well. He had been sick for 38 years. Jesus asked Him, “Do you want to be well”? Amazing, how Jesus did that! I find it how the Bible is such a comforting book, in light of Jesus. Without Jesus, the Bible would be a stinking pile of garbage.

I guess my Dad decided to stay at the farm again. He does this a lot. Dad really enjoys that camper, they put out there. Last time I was there he showed me how to setup the generator. It was easy to do. I think I can remember it, next time I go out there.

Jesus is now explaining how He is the Son of Man to the Pharisees, and His disciples. He explains that He judges based on the authority of God. He does only what His Father sent Him to do. How the Father is His witness. Where did Moses write about Jesus? Are there hidden books, that we know nothing about.

Jesus is now feeding the 5,000. Actually, it was more than 5,000. Back then, only the men were counted. Not including there families. They even had twelve basket fulls of bread left over, after the meal with Jesus. Jesus then goes off into the hills, to be by Himself. Then Jesus appears to the disciples, when they were in the boat, and they thought he was a spirit.

Jesus is now teaching in the synagogue. He is the Bread of Life. Pastor Kilman did a sermon on this, and I was there for it. Very fascinating. We must drink of Jesus blood, and eat of His flesh too. Or we cannot be saved. Jesus then travelled the Galilee. Even in Galilee, the Jewish authorities were looking for Him.

Jesus spared the life of the adulterous woman. Once again, He is confronted by the Pharisees on this matter. Jesus explains, “The Father who has sent Me, is with Me”. The Pharisees knew neither Jesus, nor the Father. Yet, they claimed to be Holy. Jesus is the Good Shepherd.

Jesus is waiting to raise Lazarus from the dead. He is also going back to Jerusalem. Jesus no longer traveled openly, because they were looking to kill him. The Pharisees and the Chief Priests had given orders, that anyone who saw Jesus must turn Him in.

Jesus is entering Jerusalem riding on a donkey. He is headed for His moment of humiliation and death. Jesus is discussing how He is the Light, and how we can be the people of the Light. Even though He had performed all these miracles. They refused to believe. Isaiah said God has blinded there eyes, and there minds. It was God who blinded them to the truth. So, that He might be lifted up for us.

Jesus is being betrayed. He is being handed over to the Chief Priests and Pharisees. Jesus calls us friends, not servants. a servant doesn’t know what its master does. But Jesus told us everything. “Love one another”. If people persecuted Jesus- they will persecute us. They no longer have any excuse for there sin. They hate both Him and His Father. They hated Him for no reason at all. Jesus is prophesying not only His Asencion, the coming of the Holy Spirit, and His eventual return. Jesus has defeated the World.

Judas led the Temple guards, to find Jesus. At the garden, where He prayed. Jesus asked them twice, “Who are you looking for?” “Jesus” they said. Now Peter denies Jesus. Three times. Before the rooster crowed. Jesus said, “My Kingdom does not belong to this world”.

Now the Jews want Jesus crucified. Even though Pilate found nothing to condemn Him for. The Jews wanted Jesus killed for “blaspheme”.

Here, you can watch it for yourself. Its very moving.

  • I Made It. It’s Friday!

I made it! Like the title says. My favorite time is Friday night. Because you have the whole weekend to look forward too. This week, I have been watching the Left Behind series on YouTube. It’s free. So far. It has been pretty good too. I would say, the 2nd one was much better than the first one. But both films were good. I believe they show the truth. That Jesus will return soon!

I went and drove to see my Mom. But she was not home. That’s ok. I am not so sure she wants to see me right now. I have begun to grow a beard. I am no longer in the NAVY, so I figure why not? At least for a little while. I just think that shaving every day is hard on my face.

I am waiting for my disability to hit at Midnight. I destroyed my old phone. So, I am planning to buy a new phone. I am not sure what kind. Whatever is the cheapest. Honestly, I considered getting a flip phone. I use Facebook way to much, that’s why. I am also on Truth Social. I am just on there to support Trump during the difficult times.

I have my drink. A Red Bull Peach Edition. It is delicious. I cannot really afford it, but I bought it anyways. I just went to smoke a cigarette. I noticed the grass needs mowing. It has been storming almost this whole week, in Texas. But today, it was rather nice out. I just am not sure I am ready to mow yet. Might let it grow a bit longer.

I am on a Batman Kick. Lately, I have been listening to soundtracks on YouTube. I think this is one of my favorite ones. I miss watching the Dark Night trilogy in theaters. I saw all but the last one in Theaters. I watched the second one in Bahrain. It made the movie special.

Thank you for reading my blog. I just wonder, how is your family doing? Well, I hope. My family seems to be doing alright. My Niece is off to Air Force Boot Camp this week, I guess. Big step for her. I reminded her to document everything. She already knows that.

I am just here in Texas again. I figure I will find work soon. I am always trying to find work. I hope I hear from my old employer. DefenseTex. I enjoy working as a security guard.

I am going to be taking a free certification course through Cisco and IBM- offered by Goodwill. It begins in July, and ends in September. I hope to become certified. I will take my time, and study hard. First step is the assessment. Mr. Padilla at Goodwill sent me the instructions. I will begin self-paced courses.

Anyways, I am just writing to give an update. My updates have been sparse. I am what some would call “Old Fashioned”. I believe we need to honor our parents. Its not easy, and if you have no parents it might prove a challenge to obeying the command of God. But if you are not sure about it, pray to God and ask Him to guide you. That’s what I do. As an adult I no longer obey my parents- rather I honor them. This honors God. It is so easy in our modern world to blow off this command of God. But it needs to be obeyed because it is fundamental. I am not trying to lecture you. I am just sharing what I do. It is something God convicted me about, even before I left the NAVY. When I was a child, I rarely honored my parents. But as an adult I do everything I can to honor them.

Robert Jeffress says we will marvel, at what God has done. This is very uplifting to me. Because I am a Christian. Being a Christian is not just a religion- it is a relationship. With Jesus. Jesus came to His own people, and was rejected.

Sometimes, they say that the Bible, and Jesus are ethnic- that it is for “white people”. But this is not true. Ethiopia was a Christian country in Africa. Just play Europa Universalis III. It will show you, that Ethiopia was Orthodox. Also, many Black Americans have come to accept Jesus as there savior. I doubt they would even be able to do that, if it were “ethnic”.

Anyways, I am just rambling now. I have to ponder these things, because I think these factors above, will matter. That is, people will leave Jesus because they think He is ethnic. But Paul wrote “There is Neither Jew, nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female”. Why would Paul write that if it was all “ethnic”? Wouldn’t Paul emphasize being a Jew, or a Greek, if such was the case.
