  • A Mistake

I quit my job at Albertsons. I took a shift as an unarmed security guard. They told me it would be easy to get 40 hours a week. So, I went ahead and quit my job at Albertsons. I pictured myself working during the week and the weekend. I found out all of my hours are during the weekend, so far. I could have been pushing carts at Albertsons all of this time. Well, I went and tried to get my job back at Albertsons. They let me put in a two week notice instead. I put it in, and so I am going to try one more time to get back on the schedule at Albertsons. I am still getting paid. I will get 40 hours a week, for sure. But I just pictured it being different for some reason.

Well, anyways. How are you doing? I hope you are doing well. I have been, other than working my job, playing a new computer game I bought some time a go. It is called “RimWorld”. Pretty intricate little game. You start with three colonists, who have crash landed from space onto RimWorld. Then, you build from scratch everything, a Barracks, a stockpile. Eventually, after several restarts I got a good little colony going. My colonists have been going at it for a while now, and I now have six colonists. The stockpile is growing, and I can make caravans to sell what we have. Pretty exciting. I wish I had screen shots to share. But not this time.

    RimWorld

What do you know, I did manage to upload a screenshot.

    RimWorld

There is a second screen shot. Maybe this is enticing to you. All of the little details in the game make it fun. I even had a battle. A warg killed and ate my Yorkshire terrier. So, I mustered all of my colonists, except for Herbert who was off on a Caravan, and attacked the warg. One problem I am having is feeding my animals. So I keep getting an Animal Starvation debuff. I tried making a spot for hay and kibble, but that did not work.

Something about me, is that I was homeschooled. My Mom, a teacher, decided to homeschool me. She claims she wanted to homeschool before I was even born. So, me and my brother were both homeschooled. This ended up being a good way to go. But today, people are trying to mass hysteria people into homeschooling. It is understandable, of course. Homeschooling involves a lot of resources and time. I recommend homeschooling. It took my Mom a lot of effort to match the Public Schools in terms of what we were learning. Eventually, we got a curriculum called Christian Liberty Academy, where we were a “satellite school”. But we still did school at home. I think the switch was more of a struggle than I realized it would be. I remember math was extremely hard, though the math book was short. My Dad and me were up until midnight solving quadratic formulas. But on the other hand, when it came to History I could just ingulf myself with it. So, it worked out, because although I struggled with math, I was able to study my passion which was history. Still, I can remember sitting there, in the school room, September 1, 1998 when I began High School. I thought to myself, “This school is the first thing that I do that matters”. After that, the pressure was on. Ultimately, I thought homeschooling was tough and challenging. But if you stick with it it is worth it. That is all.

  • Coffee

    Coffee

Coffee is like fuel, or oil for a car. I drink a lot of coffee. I especially enjoy coffee while I write. It fuels me, by giving me something warm to drink. I don’t drink much tea. I have tried Green Tea and Jasmine Tea. Each day is a little bit more smooth because of coffee. There are times that I drink a pot of coffee a day.

How are you doing? I hope you are doing well. I forgot my manners again. I applied to work at FedEx. Two different locations, one in Irving and the other in Village Creek. I kind of wanted to try and work at FedEx again after working at Albertsons for a while. But I forgot the pain of working at FedEx. Now, I am double thinking my plan. Nevertheless, I do not want to waist my time. They sent me remote interviews to complete. Have you ever worked at FedEx? My work attitude was very different back when I first worked at FedEx. I had not experienced working at Albertsons. At Albertsons I have learned neat skills, like working as a team. Or, how to keep going when I am ready to quit. When it comes to those carts, sometimes I don’t want to get them. But I keep going.

I am listening to another YouTube. Listening to something, also helps me to write. So, I am listening to The Watchman. The Watchman is probably the most theologically correct Bible channel on YouTube. So convicting too. It helps draw me to God, ultimately. That is what my writing is about. Drawing close to God- knowing Jesus Christ. These are what is important in life. Irregardless of where I work, or how much money I have, I know to make time for God, in everything I do. But I should make my time for God the center of what I do. But I am working on that one. Does this bother you? Oh, I’m sorry. Not trying to bother you, nor make you uncomfortable. Believe me, it makes me uncomfortable to, sometimes. But in the end, I love it when the truth is discussed. All the wars going on, and the afflictions across the globe, I bet they want to blame God. I am not so sure it is God doing them. We might be doing them to ourselves. Oh, now you think I believe in “climate change”. No, climate change is always happening. But we sin, and the planet earth responds to that. The only solution is to turn to God. Turn to Jesus, repent and change the way we think and act. Not to many people want to do that right now. It is uncomfortable, as I said. It is not easy to admit, we are wrong. Especially when it comes to being wrong about God. I used to think, all this devastation was a result of God. No, it is a result of ourselves.

God is watching, waiting for us to turn and repent. Now, it is hard to find a good church. Either the church is “pouring out the Holy Spirit”, or the church sounds almost disconnected from all that is going on. As long as the church though teaches the Bible, and allows us to listen, then I believe it might actually be a good church. They are not content in either case, to go over the entire Bible. They selectively go over parts that bolster what they believe. Or, they ignore 90% of the Bible, because they do not want to discuss what is in the rest of the Bible. When Jesus himself discusses these things in the Gospels. God loves us. Yes. The Holy Spirit is important, but how does the Holy Spirit move in our time? The Apostolic gifts were for the Apostles. Our gift from the Holy Spirit is understanding the word of God.

    Psalm 19

For the choir director; a psalm of David

1 The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky displays what his hands have made.

2 One day tells a story to the next. One night shares knowledge with the next

    3 without talking

    without words

    without their voices being heard.

4 Yet their sound has gone out into the entire world,

their message to the ends of the earth.

He has set up a tent in the heavens for the sun,

5 which comes out of its chamber like a bridegroom.

Like a champion eager to run its course.

6 It rises from one end of the heaven and circles around to another.

Nothing is hidden from its heat.

7 The teachings of the LORD are perfect. They renew the soul.

The testimony of the LORD is dependable.

It makes the gullible people wise.

8 The instructions of the LORD are correct.

    They make the heart rejoice.

The command of the LORD is radiant.

    It makes the eyes shine.

The fear of the LORD is pure.

    It endures forever.

The decisions of the LORD are true.

    They are completely fair.

10 They are more desirable than gold, even the finest gold.

They are sweeter than honey, even the drippings from a honeycomb.

11 As your servant I am warned by them.

There is great reward in following them.

12 Who can notice every mistake? Forgive my hidden faults.

13 Keep me from sinning. Do not let anyone gain control over me. Then I will be blameless, and I will be free from any great offense.

14 May the words from my mouth and the thoughts from my heart be acceptable to you, O LORD, my rock and my defender.

I included the Psalm because, well it had been on my mind. I was introduced to it by a video from Answers In Genesis. So, I shared it here. On my blog.

Well, it is time for me to go eat. I ate Jack In the Box. I enjoy the tacos. They taste good, and are healthy, although lately, I have detected some grease on them. But not much grease, just enough to notice.

The actor Chris Rock was diagnosed with COVID-19. He has been pushing the vaccine. Which reminds me, I need to let Albertsons know about being vaccinated. I get a whole day off. On October 15, 2021 I will be fully vaccinated. Anyways, you can read about actor Chris Rock here.

Chris Rock on Sunday said he has been diagnosed with COVID-19 and sent a message to anyone still on the fence: “Get vaccinated.”

    – Actor Chris Rock

Chris Rock jokingly referred to the one shot Johnson & Johnson vaccine, which he received in May, as the “Food stamps of vaccines”. Despite being vaccinated, Chris Rock still contracted COVID. I am getting the vaccine against my own conscience. Dr. Rochelle, the Director of the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) said “It is concerning enough that we feel like we have to act”. This referred to guidance from the CDC which suggested that the vaccinated must still wear a mask in doors. This article came from Q13FOX up in Washington State.

This celebrity got sick at the same time as some other celebrities. So, now the celebrities all want COVID it seems like. The CDC is increasing its guidelines, and removing one of its incentives for being vaccinated. Like it was a trick to get a certain amount vaccinated, then they put the masks back on. Some people at work were upset, because they make people who are vaccinated, or not, wear masks. In fact, there is a big poster attached to the timeclock which says everyone is required to wear a mask. Regardless of whether they are vaccinated.

A full forensics identification has not been completed. But a body was discovered at the Bridger-Teton National Forest. In a press conference, the authorities released that the body fit the description of the body fit that of Gabby Petito. The article from ABC News, found on Yahoo can be found here. Gabby Petito went missing after a cross-country road trip with her boyfriend. She was 22 years old.

The dates they are looking at are from August 27 to August 30 at the Spread Creek Dispersed Camp Ground. I know this story captured National attention. So, I wanted to include it. It definitely is a bizarre story. I first heard about it on the radio.

PHOTO: This screen grab from a video provided by the Moab Police Department shows Gabrielle Petito talking to an officer near the entrance to Arches National Park in Utah, Aug. 12, 2021. (Moab Police Department via AP)

The family asked for privacy to grieve. The search is on for Miss Petito’s boyfriend, now.

I refreshed Max’s water. It was hot today, so he drank a lot of water. Today, at work, I got carts, swept up the side walk, an emptied the lobby trash. I managed to clear the lot today- with some help. It felt nice to say, “The lot is clear”. I worked all day to do that. Sometimes, it is easy to clear the lot, when there are not very many people. But this time, until about late noon, there were quite a few people. What can I say? Business was booming.

    Ray Comfort of Living Waters

I included this video by Ray Comfort. It was shared to me by Joe from Facebook. This is how I really feel about things. That is why I write in my blog the way that I do. Because the most important thing is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Everything else I write is garbage compared to writing about the Kingdom of Heaven. As a free gift. That is what Ray Comfort says. He says it all so well. What he says, is how I feel. Without Christ, all the other stuff has no meaning. Well, it has meaning, but it ends. Someday. The eternal gift of Jesus Christ, however, never ends. If you got nothing else from my writing, but this one thing, I am overwhelmed with joy by it.

Well, i hope you have a good night. I hope you enjoy reading my blog, as much as I enjoy writing in it.

  • Worry

Each day I tell myself, “This day is a gift” from above. So it helps me to not worry as much. I often worry about having days off. I am still stuck in “Navy Mode”, now I am paid by the hour. So, being off may not be a good thing, as much as I desire it. I am supposed to mow the lawn today. I have decided to get the vaccine. I need to get it for my MRR.

I want to make sure my MRR does not become about the vaccine. Otherwise they might just discharge me. Or, Administratively Separate me. Which is no good. I’m heavily stressed by this MRR. I keep thinking I am supposed to muster with Medical, somehow. Not sure why I feel that way. I just do.

How Are you doing? I hope you are doing well. There is a lot I don’t remember about you now. It has been a long time since we communicated. I long to communicate with you again. But, I am surviving without. I have been. So, maybe I don’t need to communicate with you.

Right now, I am waking up. With Michael Anthony. I finally have time to sit down and listen to what he has to say. Climate change is a big topic in these days. The climate change is not really climate change. It is just the weather. The weather is not guaranteed to be the same, year by year.

Dr. Fauci supports vaccine mandates for air travel. An article, found on Yahoo News, from the Washington Post states that as the headline. But in the article, it is clarified that he actually just wants you to be vaccinated in order to travel by air. Not that he supports vaccine mandates for air travel. But still, it is very close to it. The article is here. The article was published on Monday, September 13, 2021, published by Hannah Sampson. Later in the article, he did go on to say, that if President Biden supported the mandate for air travel, he would support it. Fines have been doubled for those refusing to wear masks at airports. There are now vaccine requirements for employers with more than one-hundred employees. This is not surprising, that Dr. Fauci would support that since the President is his boss. If the President makes a mandate, he has to support it. As the article stated, there are fines at airports for not wearing a mask.

Dr. Fauci Wearing a Mask as he testifies on 23 September, 2021

Each day that goes by, I just wonder why are they trying to make life more difficult for people. Of course, all you have to do is get the vaccine. Here in Texas I don’t see why we can’t have a mandate. Because here is the thing, is that Meningitis is mandated to go to school. I can see opposing mask mandates, but not vaccine mandates. Even though I have read and heard all of this negative stuff about the vaccine. I am going to go ahead, and get the vaccine. I don’t trust the vaccine, I trust God. I trust that God wants me to obey the government. Even when it is unpopular, and even when I have said so myself- that in fact I don’t trust the government either. I don’t. I trust God. It is important to obey God rather than man. God has not spoken, but in His word, the Bible I see stuff that makes it clear to obey the government. Well, it is time for me to go to bed. I hope you have a good night.

  • My Next Blog Post

    My Next Blog Post

Today, I work again. I am just getting in a few minutes of writing. I have not written in my notebook for Vicki Walls, because I keep writing in my blog. Well, typing in my blog. I like the freedom of a blog. Freedom. Something in the Bible. We need to protect our freedoms. Freedom only really exists in America. This is why they want a One World Government. To remove America, because freedom is not one of there core values- because freedom is found in the Bible. They hate the Bible. They hate God. They hate the church. The persecution is coming. In fact, the persecution is already here. If you believe in Jesus, they have already found a false Jesus to flag in front of us. They call America Babylon. They claim America is in the Bible. But as Babylon. Yet, they never show where the Bible calls America Babylon.

I believe Babylon will be Babylon. Somehow, it will be rebuilt. If it hasn’t been rebuilt already. They withhold knowledge, because knowledge is power. But God will bring down the powerful. Especially in regards to Israel. They tamper with Israel via the United Nations, always trying to assault Israel. Well, it is time for me to go to work.

After work, I am siting here. Wishing I had stayed. But I had a lot of hours last week. First day of the week, and my Manager wanted me to stay. I wanted too. But felt better about it. I did stay an extra hour. Hopefully, that will help. My Manager always looks out for me on breaks and at lunch. So, I want to do the best I can. Besides, I need to take my medicine. Hopefully, God and my Manager understand.

Well, anyways, I was at work and Scott called. Actually I wonder if it was Steve. Anyhow, he and Steve drank expired energy drinks. His voice was horse, it sounded like Scott was sick. I guess he is ok. Scott sometimes calls at the oddest times. But I always like to make time for Scott. Right now, a fire-engine is outside my window with its lights on. The Fire truck just left. Scott would like to know about that.

History can prove America is not Babylon. For one, America was founded on the worship of God. The God of the Bible. Babylon was founded on worshipping a false god. The roots of America and the roots of Babylon are two different things. The Bible never actually names the United States.

Still. I do believe America needs to repent. God had a purpose for Babylon, and God has a purpose for America. In the end, God will get what he wants from America. If we repent and turn to him, as a nation, we could receive the reward for obedience. Each day that goes by I am not so sure this repentance will happen. People just will not wake up. Like a nightmare. Each day passes, and we just keep doing what pleases us instead of what pleases God. Obedience. And repentance. Those are some of the things that please God. Worship too. Obeying what Jesus had to say would be a good first start.

I am reading a Yahoo News article. Written by Ben Alder. The senior “climate” editor. I put quotations there because I do not believe all this is from climate change, but rather it is from God. The flooding in the Midwest, the fires in California, the Hurricane Ida, these things are from God to wake us up. Still, in the article the home owner lost $40k,000 in damages in his Michigan home. When his basement was flooded. Originally, he thought “Once and done”, from a flood in 2016. Now, in 2021 he experienced flooding in June 6 inches, and eight inches in August, along with his wife.

The basement in Colin McComb's home in Grosse Pointe Park, Mich., as he first looked down the stairs after it flooded on June 26. (Colin Moulder-McComb)
    (Colin Moulder-McComb)

Above is a picture of the flooding. Notice the water, and the organ. It looks like the organ was ruined. I found a link with more photos of flooding, especially in the Northeast after Hurricane Ida. I believe the events are the warnings from God to repent, and change the way we think and act. For everybody.

Listening to Studio 10 Broadcasting. Once, more, lots of disclosures. Gotta becareful though, just because someone claims a disclosure does not mean it is. But apparently, one that he made is that Tower 7 of the World Trade Center was destroyed twenty minutes before the World Trade Centers, on September 11, 2001.

In an article from USA Today, which I found on Yahoo News. I shared both links so you can compare. According to the article, Justice Amy Barrett, one of the Trump appointed Justices, defended the SCOTUS for the decision on the Texas abortion law. It bans abortion at six weeks, whne a heart beat is detected. According to the article, Justice Amy said her goal is to make sure we know that the Supreme Court is not a bunch of Partisan hacks. At the Seelbach Hilton Hotel, she explained that the courts use judicial philosophies rather than personal political opinions.

Image of the Seelbach in Louisville

The Sealbach is in Louisville, Kentucky. She explained she is an originalist while her fellow Justice Stephen Breyer is a member of the school of thought known as “pragmatism” with in the court. She spoke at a celebration of the thirtieth Anniversary of the opening of the McConnell Center at the University of Louisville.

On my Front page, I shared an image of Shoes For Crews. This is a neat website full of shoes for working. Some are expensive. Others are affordable. I am planning to buy a pair. I really should do a YouTube video. But I get stage freight a little bit. So, what do i do? I write in my blog. I include things about me, and those things which stick out to me. Hence, why i included the Amy Barrett article. She is a woman, who supported the Texas abortion law. The law is not very popular, but nevertheless it needs to be. Abortion is evil. Whether you support abortion or not, the Amy Barrett article from USA Today gives insight into how the Supreme Court operates.

New Balance 623v3: Men's Black Slip-Resistant Shoes | Shoes For Crews
A pair of New Balance, costs 80 dollars though

Still, I have always been told, it is worth it to spend money on my feet. So, I will do my best to search for a good deal. I was just sharing one I liked with you. Each day that goes by I get closer to my goal of buying a car. So, I don’t want anything to distract from that.

In another article at the New York Times, the GOP seems a bit divided over the jab. The article published today, by Sheryl Gay Stolberg, says

Mississippi has some of the strictest vaccine mandates in the nation, which have not drawn opposition from most of its elected officials

    -Sheryl Gay Stolberg

This is in response to a statement made by the Governor of Mississippi, balking at the jab mandate. The article is going on to make it look like the Governor of Mississippi is contradictory. Mississippi is a state that went to Trump, so they are targeting it with what I call the “stupid brush” where they try and make it appear, that anyone who is against vaccine mandates is some form of idiot. Why is it that as soon as Trump is out of office, we already have some kind of tyranny on display. If people don’t want the vaccine, they shouldn’t have to get it. It doesn’t matter about the past. This is about the “new normal” remember? Unfortunately, God established government. It was to protect us. I believe that means we have to get the jab. In order to obey God, rather than man. Trump even said to get the jab. He claimed it was to protect our freedoms.

I tried to get a video to include. Here was the best I could come up with. It is an older video. But I do my best to research and find the best product. This video I am about to share goes into the “occult” understanding of the 9/11 “ritual”. It is a hard video to watch. But I think it deserves to be heard.

Inside the video, the broadcaster reminds us to be in the World but not of the World. Well, anyways, enjoy. I found it hard to listen too. It even suggests the planes could have been missiles designed to look like planes. I know, I know. That is crazy talk. I honestly should not even share this video. The only reason I am sharing this one, is because of where the speaker said, “We need to be IN the World, but not of it”. Where he talks about the meanings behind the numbers for September 11, 2001.

Today, I work again. I let Max in. I am supposed to get the jab. But I have not done so yet. Tomorrow, I am planning to go the VA to find out whats up. Today i have a lot of other things going on including work. Nevertheless, I continued to try and call NOSC Medical. I don’t want to harass them. But I do want to know, am I supposed to be mustered by Medical. Or am I supposed to be doing anything, like Holding Company. But I think Holding Company was disbanded. So, I would muster with medical. Well, anyways, time for me to finish drinking my coffee. Please, have a good day, and enjoy my blog. Hopefully I packed it with some things worth reading.

  • Feeling Better

    Feeling Better

I went in to work the other day. My pants exploded. Gross. I was not sure what caused that, so I went home and changed but decided to not go to work because I might have become sick. I had just eaten. I blame the heat.

Today though I made it to work just fine. In fact, I would say today was one of my most productive days. I moved lots of carts, did some go-backs, returns, and went and cleaned the mens restroom. Right now I am listening to Kevin Zadai – Relentless pursuit on YouTube. I really am enjoying it. I feel fine, now. Still grossed out a little. Other than that, I’m just sitting here, listening. Sometimes Kevin discusses fascinating stuff. He is actually a pilot. I did not know that till tonight. He said it himself.

I shared it here so you can watch it if you want to. Pretty encouraging.

I start out low, and end up with a high as I listen. I wonder, is that God? Jesus? The Holy Spirit? Well, anyways. I am still listening.

In a Yahoo News article, titled Veterans Struggle With Issues That Are Often Invisible To Others, Several veterans and even some spouses were interviewed about there experiences. This article comes up, of course, as we finish withdrawing from Afghanistan. No mention of President Biden and his withdrawal anywhere in the article. I felt like the article was insensitive to those who served. It cast them either as pandering for attention, or as “hapless victims” that “did it to themselves”. Like, yeah the person writing the article was clearly not a part of the economy in the early 2000s. If they were, they would understand why people were joining the military.

But the reason they were joining, was despite a good economy, we had to fight for freedom in Iraq and Afghanistan. I don’t believe we should have gone in. But once we did we should have finished what we started. One interviewee talks about bringing the war home. Well, that is because we did not finish what we set out to do. The war, it continues because we have work left undone, sister. Not only that, but what work we did do fell into enemy hands. The article was written by Jennifer Steinhauer.

Burn pits were said to contribute to the brain cancer that Beau Biden, the President’s son, contracted. In fact there were 3.5 million servicemembers who encountered the so called toxic burn pits, according to the article. Sounds like a class action lawsuit, against whoever was running the burn pits. I remember some of those in Kandahar. They were called “poo-ponds”. Why weren’t we wearing masks then, I wonder. The article is from the New York Times.

Meanwhile, in a video it is claimed, by ABC that the Taliban has claimed to have taken control of all of Afghanistan. It was done over night. The Taliban swept to power like that, it was so shocking to see. The vacuum left by America did not take long to fill. The Afghan army surrendered without a fight, it was said.

For those Americans left behind, Secretary of State Antony Blinken assures us that they are not hostages. Just like we were assured Afghanistan’s army was ready to fight the Taliban. Chartered flights from Mazar-e-Sharif in Afghanistan were grounded by the Taliban. Because some of the passengers did not have valid travel documents. There were 600 people chartered for the flights from Mazar-e-Sharif. You can read the article, and watch the video here.

Well, anyways I am just continuing to listen to the radio. I find good encouragement listening to KCBI. I like the music they play, plus they play a good list of sermons. I don’t know if you like to listen to a sermon or not. Whether you would like just the music or the sermons too, I recommend it. I will share the link here: https://www.kcbi.org/. Now, you can get some of the encouragement as well.

My medicine gives me trouble sleeping. So, I am up writing. It is 23:06 on Tuesday, September 7, 2021. Each day that goes by, I find something new to write about. I like including articles in my posts. This helps me tremendously, because you just never know what someone might learn from them. I am all about teaching others. Especially about God. How good He is. About His precious Son Jesus Christ. God ties all these things in together. You can find truth in articles, but without Jesus Christ, there is no truth. Consider John 17:17 “Use the truth to make them holy. Your words are truth”.

I am listening to Studio 10 Broadcasting once more. I enjoy listening while I write. This is obvious by now. I get inspiration sometimes by listening to- something. But Studio 10 Broadcasting is unique because the broadcaster, Michael Anthony, is uplifting, in the face of discouraging news. Right now, they were talking about Rush Limbaugh. How Rush believed in America, just like Trump does. Trump wanted us to withdraw from Afghanistan in a much different manner. This withdrawal from Afghanistan, I believe, is the beginning of the end for those who hate America. This is because, it is now obvious to everyone that they are going to no doubt plunge us into a different war. One driven by greed.

Well, anyways, I need to prepare for work. Max is following me around. Sometimes, I am not sure what he wants. All I know is, that he is my best buddy.

Now I already want some more coffee. I’m up early, because I wanted a cigarette. Today I meet with Vicki Walls again. I bought a notebook as she requested.

So, democrats don’t believe in walls- security- protection. They believe we need open borders. Its ok if you don’t have a fence. Meanwhile, in the Capitol they want a fence. Here is a photo of it:

FILE - In this April 2, 2021, file photo, the U.S. Capitol is seen behind security fencing on Capitol Hill in Washington. Law enforcement concerned by the prospect for violence at a rally in the nation’s Capitol next week are planning to reinstall protective fencing that surrounded the U.S. Capitol for months after the Jan. 6 insurrection there, according to a person familiar with the discussions. (AP Photo/Carolyn Kaster, File)

The article blames the police. But notice this quote from the article:

Though no specific measures have been announced, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi hinted during her weekly press conference Wednesday at extra safety precautions for the Sept. 18 rally by saying: “We intend to have the integrity of the Capitol be intact.”

    House Speaker Nancy Pelosi

The police continue to track intelligence indicating far right extremist groups like the Proud Boys and Oath Keepers are planning to attend next week’s rally. What rally? Trump is not planning a rally. This is something independent of Trump. The rally is planned for September 18, 2021. Over one week from now. There were some pipe-bomb fears. Apparently, two pipe-bombs were found in the Capitol the night before the Jan. 6 riots.

The headline, Police planning to reinstall Capitol fence ahead of rally, makes it sound as though no fencing is installed. Yet as I read the article, I noticed a confusing line:

The fence had been a stark symbol of the fear many in the Capitol felt after the mob pushed its way past overwhelmed police officers, broke through windows and doors and ransacked the Capitol as Congress was voting to certify Joe Biden’s electoral win.

    AP News

This paragraph linked to another AP News article. This article, dated 10 April, 2021 is old. But nevertheless, it gives some of the drama that occurred in the capitol, including the calling of the National Guard. It was believed other state capitals were also facing violent riots. Guess who the democrats called? The police. The Army. General Milley is quoted as saying “We must establish order”. Mike Pence sought to gain control of the situation. Meanwhile, Senator Chuck Schumer said, “We need help”. The article mocks Trump as unwilling to step down as President. Which makes no sense. Trump has not been instigating riots. The Trump rally is planned at the Georgia National Fairgrounds in Perry on September 25, 2021.

So, the original article I shared implies that it is a rally. It tries to link the rally to Trump, but Trump is not holding a rally at the Capitol. Trump is actually holding his Georgia Rally to support his preferred candidates for 2022. He promised to hold a rally in Georgia again after his rally there eighteen months ago.

Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp, shown meeting with Donald Trump, has called for Republican unity heading into the 2022 elections. Trump, on the other hand, has vowed revenge against Kemp and other GOP officials whom he blames for his loss in Georgia during the 2020 presidential election. (Curtis Compton/Atlanta Journal-Constitution/TNS)

So, to summarize the articles. There is going to be a rally at the U.S. Capitol on September 18. They want to reinstall a fence to protect the capital. There was a lot of confusion during the Jan. 6 riots. Meanwhile, Trump is holding his own rally on September 25, in Georgia. For the democrats, it is clear, the gloves are about to come off.

I had to go to the VA about my medicine. Apparently, my prescription shipped on 7 September, 2021. I was informed not to be getting my medicine from the VA. But instead to order it over the phone or online. While I was there, I asked about employment. But I was given a number to call and when I called it, a lady told me to search USAJOBS.GOV which I already did but found nothing. Arlington Presbyterian or Arlington Redeemer, on Pioneer is offering Adult Sunday School. It will go on for about six weeks.

    Fire Engine 14

I was on my way to get carts again. When I saw this fire truck stopped in the parking lot. I decided to take a picture of it. Now, I am sharing the photo here. Natalie just messaged me. Well, I hope this post finds you well. I hope you learned something from reading it. Each day we need to be grateful to God for what He has given us.

  • Thank You

    Thank You

For reading my blog. I enjoy it when people read my writing. How are you doing? I hope you are having an excellent day. Remember, each day is a gift from above.

I found this article on Yahoo News. The title of the article, by Caitlin Dickson, is Poll: Republican Support for Afghan Refugees Wanes as Trump, Fox News promote anti-immigrant claims. I think this article is an attempt to make the issue of Afghan refugees yet another partisan issue. But the issue isn’t really partisan. For one, I never heard any claims from Trump or Fox News against the Afghan Refugees. The Afghan refugees are a special category of refugee. Some of them were actively helping the United States while it was in Afghanistan. The survey, which went from August 30 to September 1, found that overall support for resettling the Afghans dropped from 49% to 44%. They use the numbers game to try and make the argument that the issue is with republicans.

I am here to say that most republicans I know are in support of resettling those who helped the United States. The end of Operation Enduring Freedom was symbolic- this was the end of fighting for freedom. So, then after evacuating 124,000 Afghans from Afghanistan, Yahoo News does not want the refugees to feel welcomed by Republicans. They live here now because of Republican Presidents who refused to leave behind those who helped us. Hopefully, despite the end of the evacuation they will be able to continue to get vulnerable Afghans out of the country. The withdrawal was all symbolic, I really do believe so. That we are watching the end of America. How will anyone take us seriously, that we won World War II, when we just up and let the tyrants of the Taliban regain control of the country, just like that.

The people they criticized in the article are Former President Trump, Kevin McCarthy, the minority leader of the senate, and also Rep. Marjorie Taylor Green. Yet, it was actually the Supreme Court who upheld Trump era policies regarding immigration across the southern border. In fact, I watched an interview on “The Five” on Fox News where they interviewed one of the Afghans trying to escape. Even his phone was breaking up, as the Taliban took over. They wished him well in his endeavor to escape. As he was authorized to come to the United States. But I think that people are just concerned that the Taliban and or, ISIS-K might have used the opportunity to come over here and sneak into the country. But I do not think that is likely. The Taliban is to busy celebrating all the equipment they got, $90 million dollars worth of equipment from the United States. Here is a YouTube video of Rep. Mullins on Fox News. Of course, I think Rep. Mullins is just another figure designed to fit a narrative, or a certain perspective on American politics. That perspective, is to make it appear that conservatives, or republicans are a certain way. Anyways, this video was posted by my Aunt Janet. Enjoy:

Fox News Interview With Rep. Mullins

I do not mean to get all political. I just refreshed my coffee and smoked let Max out. It is hot today, but before I head to work he needs to be outside for a while. Meanwhile, I will continue to write on my blog. I had the other day realized, I need to write on articles that stick out to me. Not just the first one I see. I feel like by doing this, I am helping as a citizen journalist. Many news outlets online now have comments turned off. So, it is up to us to make sure and share these articles, when they stick out to us. To share our perspective so that they will see, there is no alternative to turning comments back on. One way or the other, we will review and comment on their articles.

After my eye-exam yesterday, I had to work. I am part time, and I pulled a double shift. But I am glad, because of the money. I will work any hours they give me. I am not sure if I will do it as good as they want me to, but I will try my best. Now that they know I want to go full time, maybe they are testing me and seeing how I do. Before I started working at Albertsons, I did not know whether I could even work eight hours. Now I am finding out I can work eight hours. But it is very trying. still, I appreciate the hours. I’m mostly moving carts, but I need to remember to stop and do the trashes as well. But the time just goes by so fast, before I know it, it is time to go home.

I also wanted to share a scripture with you. Psalm 1:1 Blessed is the person who does not follow the advice of wicked people, take the path of sinners, or join the company of mockers.

2 Rather, he delights in the teachings of the LORD and reflects on his teachings day and night.

3 He is like a tree planted beside streams-

a tree that produces fruit in season and whose leaves do not wither. He succeeds in everything he does.

4 Wicked people are not like that. Instead, they are like husks that the wind blows away. 5 That is why wicked people will not be able to stand in the judgement and sinners will not be able to stand where righteous people gather.

6 The LORD knows the way of righteous people, but the way of wicked people will end.

I try to fit a bit of everything in my blog posts, it seems. That is because, I hope to impress on people the need to wake up. I do not know whether Jesus is coming or not. But we need to wake up, and repent so that we will not be in the way of the wicked. All of scripture points to the coming of Jesus Christ, and then His return as well. I like this one from the end of John. John 21:25 Jesus also did many other things. If every one of them were written down, I suppose the world wouldn’t have enough room for the books that would be written.

I finished preparing for work. So, I can write a little bit before I head in. Yesterday, I was getting carts for so long, that another, Edward, went and started the trash. But I was able to finish the trash for him. God is watching over me at work, in ways I never expect.

Today is Saturday, September 4, 2021. I need to take my medicine. I did, and I was glad. I just got off of work, a bit ago. I bought Max a treat. But I think I will give it to him tomorrow, sometime. He seems to be doing ok. At work I had some help from Trayne. They helped get carts, do trash, and clean the restrooms.

I was trying to find a COVID article. I read about variant 1.2. It is supposed to have the highest mutations, thus far. But I did not see anything on Yahoo about it. Yahoo, is slipping. Well, no matter. I found a Navy article.

It is an AP article. The title, is Navy Declares Five Sailors Dead After Helicopter Crash. It is in the Pacific Ocean, about 70 miles off of San Diego that the crash occurred. But I really had to read into the article to get that. After 72 hours of intense searches, and dozens of search and rescue missions to find the missing sailors, or the wreckage, the search is now on for remains. On the Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72) five other sailors were injured where the MH-60S helicopter was operating before it crashed. They were investigating whether the helicopter struck the ship, where the other sailors were working on the flight deck. The injured sailors were in stable condition according to a Lt. Samuel R. Boyle. The article states that the helicopter belonged to Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron 8.

It is sad for those lost. But reading the article brings back memories of being on the Flight Deck. I remember how dangerous it could be to operate there. One time, when we were underway, I remember a guy accidently bumped a jet. It was a big deal. On the Flight Deck, they do not play games.

The Image Associated With The AP Article

I did a search for Helicopter Sea Squadron 8. I found another article by US Naval Institute. They had an image of what the helicopter looked like:

    https://news.usni.org/2021/09/04/navy-ends-search-for-5-missing-after-helicopter-crash-sailors-presumed-lost-at-sea

According to the article by USNI, the nickname of the squadron is the “Eightballers”. Also, the mishap was unspecified. One sailor was recovered from the sea. Meanwhile, two of the five sailors injured were transported ashore for treatment. I liked the USNI article much better. But the AP article at least notified us that something happened. But it was not very specific and left questions. At the end of the USNI article it says:

An investigation into the incident is underway

    -USNI

The efforts for the search included the Coast Guard, USS Cincinnati (LCS 20) and USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72) and helicopter squadrons from U.S. Pacific Fleet Sea Combat Wing and Helicopter Maritime Strike Wing. A lot of assets were used for this search and rescue. yet, nothing was turned up. The technology we have these days, but yet they cannot find the missing sailors. This is on the heels of the twelve Marines, and one sailor who were killed in Afghanistan. The names of the sailors are being withheld for 24 hours after notification of kin.

Anyways. I am just watching another video on YouTube. I do that a lot. Some of them are interesting. Others are long, but they seem worth it to listen to. You just never know what they might discuss next. I have a whole bunch of videos to watch in my Facebook Group EnterTheStars. But I do not have time now to watch them all.

I finally found it. An article about COVID-19 variant c.1.2 in the Los Angeles Times, by Amina Kahn. Titled “What is the C.1.2 Coronavirus Variant – and Should We be Worried?”. You can read the article yourself, here. Basically, it just says that c.1.2 evolved from c.1, in South Africa and was first noticed in May, and identified in July of this year, according to the article. So, it does not sound like we need to be worried. Because the variant is so far away. But it is highly mutative, higher than other variants. The variant made its way from Africa to Asia, Oceania, and even Europe. But I think this is miss reporting, designed to mask that the virus itself originally came from the lab in Wuhan?

Who knows. They blame Africa to cover up for China. But one of the things is, that China is heavily involved in Africa, for resources. Sometimes they even bring in the troops. I wish I could find an article about that.

Continuing on, to determine whether the variant of c.1.2 is a threat to the United States, they talked with Dr. Stuart Ray of John Hopkins University, and RamÓn Lorenzo-Redondo PH.D of Northwestern university. The article went on to explain that the virus variants are divided into two groups: Variants of Interest and Variants of Concern. So far, c.1.2 has not made either list.

Residents from the Alexandra township in Johannesburg gather in a stadium to be tested for COVID-19.

The article blamed the unvaccinated for the rise in new variants. Saying that they need to provide more access to vaccinations. Of course, the real reason to be vaccinated is to protect our rights. Vaccinate! To keep your rights. To protect our freedoms.

Now I am just enjoying a meat stick. I got a meat stick as a treat for Max. Then, I got myself one as well. Max just enjoyed his treat. it is now, Sunday, September 5, 2021. At just after midnight. Time for me to smoke a cigarette and head to bed. Please have a good night.

  • Not A Day Off, But a Day On

Not A Day Off, But a Day On

My coffee is brewing. The medicine is ready. I write best with a cup of coffee nearby. I was supposed to be off today. But instead, someone asked me to take there place at work. It is just four hours, 6 PM to 10 PM. Then, tomorrow I have my eye-exam at 10 AM. We are coming up on the twenty year anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. I was just seventeen. I remember I was up stairs. In bed. I could hear my Mom go quickly to the radio beneath the stairs. She turned it on. I could vaguely hear what was going on. Something about a plane hitting a tower. Then, I heard cries on the radio, as a second plane hit the second tower. I rushed down stairs to get closer to the radio. I did not see the towers themselves fall, as we did not get television. But rather, I heard it all as the towers collapsed on the radio, I could hear it still just like I did then. The rushing sound. I can remember that. Also, I remember hearing that the Pentagon had been struck as well. About Flight 93 and “Let’s Roll”. I had just joined the Navy. I was in the Delayed Entry Program for the United States Navy, or “DEP” as it was called. I also had just been called a “stalker”, a few days before, by Stephanie. In fact, my last e-mail from her on my Juno account was on 10 September, 2001. When the first plane hit, they thought it might be an accident. But when the second plane hit, they knew it was an attack.

Well, fast forward to today. We withdrew from Afghanistan, and we are now still dealing with COVID-19. All of the reporting is on Southern states, so they are bullying the southern states to try and get them to impose mandates. Meanwhile, other states are still dealing with the fallout from COVID-19.

The Daily Wire had an interesting piece. I thought I would share it here. Basically, Los Angeles County is going to pay, to Grace Community Church, $400,000 USD. This is because some of the rules imposed for the COVID restrictions were not meant to apply to houses of worship, according to the Supreme Court. Thats a hefty fee. This is from all that confusion about whether they could even sing in church. Although the Supreme Court stepped in, it is sad to say it, but Los Angeles County was trying to afflict the church. But it was all symbolic and they focused on John MacArthur’s church.

SUN VALLEY, CA - SEPTEMBER 04: Grace Community Church Grace Community Church on Friday, Sept. 4, 2020 in Sun Valley, CA.

He defied several orders from the COVID restrictions, and won his case in the Supreme Court. It looks like it worked out. But I do not believe we are supposed to defy the Government. Defying the government is rebellion. Rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft. “Where two or three are gathered in my Name, there also am I” is what Jesus said. So, Jesus already allowed for Social Distancing. This looks like a big win, but with the ease at which Los Angeles County decided to pay up, I do believe this will come back to haunt Grace Community Church. I do not think that John MacArthur is a witch, I am just saying that the government comes from God, not from Man, so we need to obey the government. What about a church that had less resources? Were they less faithful for obeying the government? Of course not.

What does this have to do with 9/11? I do believe COVID-19 was the Catholic Church’s “9/11”. This was the first time the government imposed any restrictions on worship in the United States. Nevertheless, we ought to still obey the government, where our safety is concerned. We are to be blameless before Man and God. We ought to obey God- which in this case means obeying the government. This time it was the Supreme Court that made it so that John MacArthur was blameless. I would never condemn someone for going to church- but an alternative was provided. By God himself I believe- the Internet. All while COVID-19 was going on, I attended services online, or listened on the radio. Because these alternates are available, they ought to be used because they allow us to do the motions of worship still, without breaking the laws, or endangering anybody. However false the claim might be. So, if you are in a southern state or a church, they will come for you about COVID because the left desperately wants to retake power after Trump ruined the whole thing for him. His shutdown lasted a month. After that, he left it up to the Governors to decide to re-open. President Joe Biden and others wanted an eighteen month shutdown. So, Trump took the bight out of it, by imposing his own shutdown, which was very tight. Yes, he imposed a shutdown. But when they re-impose a shutdown, the affect will be lost because we already had a shutdown/lockdown. So, we know what it is about.

The state of California will pay the church $400,000 as well, bringing the total to $800,000

    https://www.dailywire.com/

Even the state of California was forced to pay John MacArthur, and his church. It looks like a big victory. But this is really just the beginnings of persecution. So the victory will be lost on people once that continues. Once they find a new way to get at the church they will be back for blood. They will remember not to mess with John MacArthur but rather to go for lesser victims that they can impose there will upon. But this is why God provided the internet. As long as we can still worship, we should obey the government. Still, for the most part, he did obey the government that is he was very orderly in what he did. I am not condemning but rather pointing out how I think it should have been handled. The Government showed its hand, took off its gloves, and was prepared to smack the church around a bit. Oddly, it is the church which helps the government, not the government which helps the church. John is a champion, He has been given much by God.

Anyways, I have been working long hours. But I am happy for short hours, still. I want to work full time, so I took the hours tonight to show motivation. Hopefully I will make it to my eye exam tomorrow. I set it early, so I could still make it to work. The point of working ful time is to save for a car, and money for school. I also want to invest. Who knows, maybe Albertsons will become my career. Yesterday, a Lady told me that because I work so hard, I will end up in Management. Wow, what a compliment. I realize she was flattering me, but it was so encouraging. But for now, I like being a Courtesy Clerk. It is exciting, and meaningful employment. I deal with hundreds of people per day. Sometimes even more, I am sure. I also deal with members of the Public.

Listening to Michael Anthony at Studio 10 broadcasting. I find it to be a good show, Michael has so much energy, and he reflects it in his broadcast. I first heard about Michael Anthony in Cajun Truth Seekers. Ever since, I have enjoyed his broadcasts. He is pro-Trump. So, if you do not like Trump, stay away from Michael.

Speaking of Trump, I have a YouTube I want to share from 2017, where Trump discussed our pulling out of Afghanistan. Not that trump needs to be defended. His actions speak for themselves. Trump was against a hasty withdrawal from Afghanistan.

    Trump Speaks on Hasty Withdrawal

I found this video in one of my Facebook Groups. It doesn’t shed light on what trump planned to do in withdrawing, but it does share his words on the manner of withdrawal from Afghanistan. At the end of the video, Trump says, “In the end, we will win”.

Now that you know I’m a Trump supporter you might have stopped reading my blog. But that is ok. I put his video on here so you can know what he had to say, for himself, in regards to Afghanistan. We withdrew in a hasty manner, and sure enough the Taliban took over very rapidly. The Afghan military, trained by the United States did not even put up a fight. The operation, “Enduring Freedom” (OEF) ending did not reflect the beginning, where our brave warriors went in and dislodged a tyrant. In November 2001, the Taliban was beaten. Under a Republican. In August 2021, that same rabble became victorious over a democratic President. All the efforts of our troops have been wasted. My eyes and ears cannot believe it.

I got my eye exam today. Finally. Now, I need to save a bit and get some new glasses. Now, it is time for work. I hope this blog post finds you well. Have an excellent day!

  • What Is Up?

I am listening to #BCPToday. We still have thousands of Americans trapped in Afghanistan. Afghanistan is a “trigger” for me. Because I served in the country at Kandahar Airfield. So, I know a little bit about what is going on over there. Enjoying the reporting on what is going on now, over in the capitol.

    #BCPToday

So, will include the video here incase you are interested in watching it. American females were taken by the Taliban two days ago.

What happened today. I was able to talk to Vicki Walls again. She is my counselor for anxiety. I had been seeing another counselor, but with Vicki Walls I was referred by the VA. Then, I went and bought new pants. I bought them from Good Will. I think they will be good pants. I can’t wait to put them to use at work. After I bought my pants, and some shoes, I went over to my Mom’s house to check on Meagan. She was doing ok. I saw her doing some school. Then, right before the schools zones lit up, I made it home. Later this evening I went out for a drive. I guess I had saved a bit of money. So, I enjoyed some of it. I bought a corn dog, and some coffee. I just enjoyed the drive. Listened to the radio, and relaxed.

Florida changed the way it reports COVID-19 deaths. Instead of deaths by date reported, it is going to be deaths by date occurred. This story is from Yahoo News! This change comes after Florida’s health department accused the CDC of inaccurately reporting its number of deaths, in a series of late night tweets. Yahoo news calls it “statistical slight of hand”. They have there own narrative to push. But nevertheless, Florida changes its way of reporting COVID deaths even as a new variant of the virus will likely cause greater spikes. Originally, Florida did not look to the CDC for its reporting of numbers. It was actually done internally. Until June 4th, the department of health published its own numbers. According to Miami Herald, Florida reported 18,608 more cases of COVID to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention(CDC).

Meanwhile, in California fires are still raging. The Dixie fire is now the size of the state of Rhode Island. The fire known as the Dixie Fire has been burning for seven weeks. It is forcing new evacuations in the northern Sierra Nevada mountains. The county is Butte. You can find a map at the link. The map includes the perimeter of the fire, and where evacuations are occurring. It will also show the old perimeter of the fire. Very fascinating interactive tool. The article I found is here published by mercury news. California and Florida are being hit hard, one by fire, and the other by COVID. But meanwhile, Louisiana was hit by Hurricane Ida, which turned into a tropical storm. The article on the fire in California was published today. August 31, 2021. Hurricane Ida hit the coast of Louisiana on Sunday. So, we can see a lot going on through out the southern part of the United States.

I share all of this. Because there is another crisis going unreported. A crisis at the Southern Border, where migrants have been crossing over through the southern border. This crisis has not shown up on Yahoo news, nor anywhere else that I could find. The only one talking about it, is Texas Governor, Greg Abbott. If Greg Abbott were a democrat the Federal Government would be helping him. But pretty much our government is sewn up by democrats, from top to bottom. Nevertheless, the Texas Governor continues to be the voice crying out in the wilderness about the southern border being over run by migrants. Then, being transplanted else where by the government. At first, Texas was required to transport them, but the Governor of Texas put a stop to it. Then, the Supreme Court reinstated the Trump era policies. Because the Fed was inattentive of the southern border, it got what it did not want. The Supreme Court stepping in.

I share all this. Just to say, God is in control. It looks like so much is going on. But the Author of it all is God the Most High. Lamentations 4:1 Look how the gold has become tarnished! The fine gold has changed! The sacred stones are scattered at every street corner. Also consider Matthew 12:40 Just as Jonah was in the belly of a huge fish for three days and three nights, so the Son of Man will be in the heart of the earth for three days and three nights.

We can see how even for His only begotten Son, Jesus, things were going to be tumultuous. Did not matter whether it was Israel, Jonah, or Jesus they all suffered. Yet, I want you to be encouraged because as I said, God is in control. He knows the end from the beginning.

The other day I slept so long, so I am not tired right now. So, I am going to try out a new computer game called Unturned. It is a zombie survival game, with goofy graphics. probably inspired by Corncob 3D. Well, enjoy!

  • Blogging And Me

I enjoy blogging. This is because I always wanted to keep a blog. I am living my dream as I write my thoughts down. I do enjoy it when people read my work but I do not always write for that purpose. Thank you to those who have read my blog. I was told I need a theme for my blog. But other than keeping a record of my life, I cannot for the life of me come up with a theme. I like to read and review the news articles. I am not trying to be political by doing this. It just seems to help.

I can remember so many things from my youth, and growing up. My childhood, early adulthood, and adulthood were full of excitement. Even almost a year-and a half ago, I was still driving Buber. But now I seem to be in a routine. I work, and try to stay comfortable at my Dad’s when I am not working.

I resisted the urge to write for a while, because I was doing things. Growing up. The Navy. School. Yes, driving Uber even. Now, is the time to write. I hope to write a bit about all those topics I just named. For example, I was stationed overseas during most of my active duty Navy service. Thanks to the war on terror, I kept getting to go overseas. So, I have been around the world. I am grateful for all this, from God. Then, I also got to do some school, from which I got my Associate’s Degree. I still have a bit of school to do for my Bachelor’s degree.

I apologize for not having a theme. If I need a theme, I guess writing about news stories. Writing is a gift God gave to me. I intend to use that gift to write history. I kept a blog during COVID-19. I really liked what I had. But due to some personal stuff, I was asked to delete my blogs. I will try to avoid the personal stuff. But sometimes it is difficult for me. I have things pent up from a situation that happened, and although it happened twenty years ago, I still hope for a positive outcome.

My whole theme is to leave a written record of the things that happened in our time. Hopefully, one day, someone will find it and find my writing initiative and informative about what happened in our day. COVID-19, going back a bit, the War On Terror. September 11, 2001. The invasion of Afghanistan, the invasion of Iraq. But also personal things. I was in Basic Training for the Navy when the invasion of Iraq occurred. But I do remember watching some of the run up to the invasion. The back and forth with the United Nations, and the claims of “weapons of mass destruction” wmds. The United States really wanted to invade Iraq. All along it was intended, I imagine. When Bush took office, he even said he intended to finish what his father had begun over there.

But I need to be careful to not write to much. After all, it is about quality, not quantity. I have another blog. I generally make daily updates to it. But this blog, each post I intend to take my time to make sure the information shared is relevant, and important to know in order to understand what happened in our day. I do not agree with our news outlets stance on politics. Most of them lean way to the left. The ones that do not, still push the same narrative anyways. Some people call it an agenda. But by narrative I mean partially the story. For example, in the story you can argue the Germans won the Battle of Berlin. But in the narrative, the Soviet Union won the war. So, it almost does not matter whether the Germans won the Battle of Berlin or not. The next day, they surrendered to the Soviets, even though they sought to surrender to the western powers, the United States and Great Britain.

I’m partially dressed for work. Max is inside. So, I need to finish getting ready. But I have a few moments to spare. I wish I knew of a way to make money from my blog. But the whole point of me writing is not to profit for personal sake, but rather to write for anyone who wants to read what I have to say. Hopefully, they will come away with an understanding of what happened. Nevertheless, I intend to put some money into my blog. So, I hope I will learn how to use my blog for a return. Anytime you invest, you can get a return, is what I learned. Sadly, that return is in the wreck yard, but nevertheless. I saw the fruits of my labor: a Hyundai Accent, 2011 model with non-electric windows. White exterior. I was so proud of that car. I wish I had thought of buying a different car much more quickly. But until my investment came back, I did not really have the money to do so. Instead I purchased an Audi, and got stuck with that.

I know, I know. Now I know, that an Audi shows a bias towards German cars. I wish sometimes that I had bought a Mercedes SUV instead. Since I was going to buy a German car anyways. Might as well have. But to its credit, that Audi did do a lot of driving. But apparently, the transmission developed a malfunction.

But now, I look for a vehicle, one that will drive Uber, is safe, and cost effective. Speaking of vehicles. I saw this gem in the parking lot at Albertsons:

My friend Scott got me into taking pictures of trucks, and buses. I guess he enjoys doing that himself. So, I am just sharing this photo to connect with Scott. I really liked the look of the bus. It looked comfortable, maybe those inside were comfortable too. But it was for the Duncanville Panthers. Duncanville is over where my car wreck happened. Anyways, it is time for me to finish getting ready for work. I am going to try and eat before hand.

I like to play computer games. One game I am playing is Total War: Rome II. I’ve been slowly working on a map. I can show you some of the progress.

Before Rome Betrayed the Etruscan League

After the Civil War Rome grew in strength. So, I decided to betray the Etruscans. This is because they captured the two of the three northern Italian cities I was trying to capture.

    After the Betrayal

Rome was in a much better position after it captured the remaining Etruscan regions. But it took a lot of gory war in order to capture those regions that make up Italy. I’m very slowly expanding. In this version of Rome II, they have Civil Wars, which cannot be avoided, only averted for a turn or two. The War with the Etruscan League began in 1 BC and ended in 18 AD. After 19 long years of war, the final battle culminated into a naval battle.

Now, after a brief war with Nervii, Rome finished capturing another settlement.

Here is what the game play looks like. The game features multiplayer, and I tried it once with a friend. It was a little tedious. But very fun. I enjoy my private time with my games though. This playthrough included a battle.

I started playing computer games in 1991. I started on a 286, with no internet connection. So, I don’t often play multiplayer games. When I play multiplayer, I like to play cooperatively. I really like strategy games. In 1996, for Christmas Billy bought me Exploration, and we played that. That was my first strategy game, and we played it multiplayer. I also liked playing Axis & Allies. I forced Billy to play hours of that game, I never did learn whether he liked it or not. I can play competitively as well. In 1998 I bought Civilization II. I will include more playthroughs later.

I remember the first time I played Total War: Rome. It was in 2008 in April after I first reported to Manama, Bahrain. I tried it while at the Single Sailor lounge in Bahrain. I had never played a Sega strategy title before. But I wanted to, and I liked it so much I bought a copy of it from the Exchange. Even though it is a strategy game, it reminded me a little bit of Super Street Fighter II, with the geography settings for the battles. Each day, when I first arrived in Bahrain, I would play it. Just a little bit at a time. I was really impressed by how accommodative the game was. It was turned based on the campaign map, but real time in the battles. So, it allowed me to make my decisions and yet in the battles, I could do whatever I wanted. Sometimes as Rome you could win a smashing victory, with half the forces.

Now in Rome II you need an equally matched force in order to win. So, it takes some of the guess work out of it. Also, I tend to do more autobattles in Rome II. Where as in Rome I I played out nearly every battle. It was so much fun to play. The music in the series has always been relaxing too. The political and civil management in Rome II was greatly expanded. Now, on top of battles you have to decide what to do with your people. Also, each city takes resources, such as food to build new buildings.

Well, I hope you enjoy this review. I enjoyed writing it. I was finally able to include my maps.

Hurricane Ida made landfall Sunday. With 150 MPH winds. A democrat is in office, so they down play the destruction. Hurricane Ida hit on the 16th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina. Here is a photo of some of the damage:

My Mom is from Louisiana and I remember following the events of Hurricane Katrina. But Hurricane Ida was downgraded to a “tropical storm”. You cannot trust these people at all.

The withdrawal in Afghanistan is wrapping up. There is now a live YouTube channel to watch as the withdrawal continues.

May be an image of one or more people, people standing and outdoors
A photo of a spouse sending their Marine off to war

People are going out of there way to honor the 13 servicemembers killed in Afghanistan. They were killed in a suicide bombing that happened at the Kabul Airport.

Live Coverage of the Evacuation of the Kabul Airport in Afghanistan

I included the footage here for your viewing. God keep our troops safe, and may all the Americans get out of there safely. It is interesting hearing the sounds, and seeing the sights of the Kabul Airport. I can hear a helicopter in the distance, horns, cars. Music playing too. I hope my blog post finds you well.

I work today, today being Monday, August 30, 2021. I won’t be closing. But on Thursday Night I will be closing. I took a shift for a fellow Courtesy Clerk. I hope it was the right decision. On Friday I have my eye-exam. My medical Retention Review is supposed to be submitted by the NOSC today.

In the future I will do a blog post on me and History. How I came to be a student of history, and how working at FedEx after school was eye opening to history, and what my studies mean. Basically, when I was a kid, I was enamored with World War II. Hence why I played Axis & Allies so much. I also watched lots of World War II videos. Victory at Sea, The World At War series. Another series, was Why We Fight by Frank Capra. I read a lot of books on World War II as well. Especially about Midway and the Battle of the Bulge. My Great Uncle Jim was in the Battle of the Bulge. Eventually, in High School I found myself drawn to history. But that was not what made me want to study History. I had a real experience with History during my time at FedEx. Also, now that I am at Albertsons, I also have experiences with History, but now I expect them. I just hope maybe it is enough to finish my degree.

max is outside. I don’t want to forget Max. he has been by my side through this whole ordeal. The ordeal known as life. I’m trying to make my post as vivid about my life as I possibly can. Max is just laying out, in the sun next to the shed. Rolling in the grass.

Well, that is all for now. Eric signing out.

  • Pay Day

    Pay Day

Pay day motivates me. I know that when I get paid, I work harder. But then I taper off. I am not sure why I do that. I am hungry now, and going to go eat. I will do my best to make a blog post worthy of my readers. I want to include the video I Pet Goat II. This away you can know what this video is. I have watched tons of reviews on it. But never had I watched it for myself. I find it to be very interesting. According to the creators of the video, it explores the commonalities between the spiritual and philosophical.

But another video I wanted to share is of a Christian song that came out October 12, 2001. It is titled I Can Only Imagine. It contrasts nicely with the video I Pet Goat II and states how, there is more to life, that life is about meeting Jesus. The author of the song, Bart Millard, who is the lead singer of MercyMe, wrote this song.

Although some of the things going on now are destressing, we need to keep our focus on Jesus Christ. Because one day we will see Him and His glory. Instead of fretting about tomorrow, we are supposed to live for today. Each day, I am reminded to live for that time where I will see His glory.

I just finished work. I got off a little later, because Jeremiah asked me to stay for a while longer. I started at 2 PM and left at 8 PM. Now, tomorrow I work at 10 AM. Until 6 PM. I ended up using the Magic Spill cleaner to clean a spill on aisle 14. Then, I took some of the Magic Spill to the restroom and used it to clean a spill up there as well. I am writing a lot these days. I think it is neat. I really enjoy having a blog. Not much is going on personally. This is a special time of life no doubt. I have easy access to preaching, and the word of God.

I think I will continue with my writing tomorrow. I’m pretty tired.

I woke up today, and made my coffee, shaved, showered, and am all ready for work. I just need to jump into my uniform. I have time to write for a bit. I feel fresh today.

Today, on August 28, 2021 the United States hit back against ISIS-K. The United States killed the planner behind the airport suicide bombings. Meanwhile, they have warned Americans to stay away from the airport. Meanwhile, the current Administration ordered flags at half-staff for those killed in the terror attack on Thursday.

Anyways. Something I am learning, is to be content. God has things a certain way right now, and I’m making it. So, I should just be happy. I do wish i was doing school. But I am working, and that is important too. I earn money that way.

Right now I’m listening to another video by “A Call For An Uprising”. I like his videos. He is a Christian so, I can agree with his perspective. I do not believe we need an uprising though. But we do need one to make sure our country follows the Bible more. Our government is in the middle of trying to withdraw from Afghanistan, and so that is important.

I had another video to share, but it wants me to pay in order to share it. Well, I don’t want to pay just yet. I want to make sure I can save some money before I pay. I really do want to invest a bit to make my blog better. But not right now.

The Supreme Court is going to allow evictions to continue. In the article, from Yahoo News it mentions how the government has assistance for both renters and landlords. Currently, 3.5 million people face eviction.

If a federally imposed eviction moratorium is to continue, Congress must specifically authorize it,” the court wrote

    https://www.yahoo.com/news/supreme-court-allows-evictions-resume-013104760.html

The Supreme Court is challenging Congress to make a law about the eviction moratorium claiming the CDC does not have the authority to impose an eviction moratorium. The current Administration is calling on local governments to distribute rental assistance funds. Some states have imposed there own ban on evictions. This will no doubt cause a rise in rent. The Biden Administration argued that with transmission rates so high, they think it is risky lifting the eviction moratorium.

I like this photo above. It is a very nice picture, very calming. I remember canoeing when I was up in Washington. It was always very exciting to do, and you would be surprised by how easy it is to do. But it does take a lot of strength to keep going, after a while. Sometimes, I wish i had a canoe, Lake Arlington would be a great place to canoe. But for now, they have Kayaking. Of course Kayaking could be fun, its just that Kayaks sometimes tip over, for whatever reason, and they are hard to get out of.

Sometimes, I think the news is trying to “Social Engineer” a narrative. But with the headlines. If you read the article you will find that the headline and the article often do not match, and that the headline was meant to grab your attention.
