  • Happy Birthday USMC!!!

I have two brothers that are Marines. So, it would be fitting if I recognize that this is the Marine Corps birthday- the 249th!!

As a Navy Veteran, I just want to say- Happy Birthday USMC from your Uber service!!!

  • The New Ambassador to the United Nations!

According to Jay Sekulow of ACLJ on Facebook, Elise Stefanik will fill the position. Congratulations, Ma’am and Godspeed! It was just posted less than an hour ago. Jay assures us, she is very pro-Israel. Jay recommended a swift confirmation by Congress so she can further Trump’s agenda.

  • Trump Wins All Swing States

Trump successfully won re-election, and he managed to do very well in Texas. The Democrats spent millions of dollars in Texas. To quote Senator Ted Cruz: Chuck Schumer wasted his money.

  • Veterans Day Weekend

This is Veteran’s Day weekend. I am waking up tomorrow, at about 6 AM to celebrate Veteran’s Day With my friend Jack Pena. The first stop: IHOP. I have not seen Jack Pena in sometime.

That is Jack Pena, at the Sweet Center (Now the Veterans Assistance Office). Last time I saw Jack, was just before I went up to Washington State. I want to discuss with him my plans for going back to school. I also want to catch up with him, and we are planning to eat all three meals together.

These losers will be the ones affected by Trump’s Term Limits amendment! See how long These people have been in office, and what have they achieved? Nothing, but to fatten there own pockets. Never again!!! Bye, bye Nancy!!!!! These people go to Congress, spend there entire lives there, and end up millionaires on a salary that doesn’t pay that much. Its time to Drain the Swamp!!!! Trump is also going to move some of the Federal positions out of Washington D.C..

Congress isn’t the only area causing trouble. According to Trump, Governor Newscum from California has been draining all that fresh water from the North, into the ocean!

See how insane that is. Read it again!! What was that about a water shortage in California? Gavin did it to his own state! Along with calling out the corrupt Governor of California on his wasteful use of California’s water resources, Trump wants to demand the use of Voter ID! It seems funny to me, you have to use an ID to buy smokes, alcohol, use the bank, drive, and so many other things. Yet- for some reason no voter ID is required? Where do these people get off! Well, they won’t any longer.

  • It’s Good To Have A Pet

    Daily writing prompt
What is good about having a pet?

This question makes me think of Max.

I miss laying next to Max when it was cold. Or taking Max for a walk. I also miss when he would lay outside, and I would smoke and drink coffee. Ah! Those were the days. But I know Max is in a better place now.

  • Most Expensive Item

    Daily writing prompt
Name the most expensive personal item you’ve ever purchased (not your home or car).

Probably my gaming laptops. My first one, I bought just after my final deployment on USS Princeton, from the exchange. It was an ASUS. That was in 2013. In 2023 I bought the one I am currently using. It is a Predator Helios 300, bought it for about $1200+.

  • More Good News, The Journey Back to School!

Today, I received an e-mail from UTA telling me how to unlock my account. But when I went to reset the password, it told me that I was unable to reset passwords. So, I went and chatted with IT Support for a bit. They had me login with my NetID, and change the password this way. I went in and reset my password. But then I realized the password for my NetID might be different than the one for my e-mail, but they told me that in fact, its the same password.

It seems like quite a change for the better. Before I remember having three or four passwords to login. Someone really got a hold of the IT Department at UTA, and straightened things out. How convenient. Well, anyways, I was finally able to login, and sure enough, I got an e-mail from Evelyn Sanchez. She told me I do not need to re-submit my transcripts. She told me it might be a couple weeks though for my fee waiver, because they have to review my DD-214. Uh- Why? Is it missing some medals.

So, I simply told her about my goal. I was on my way in to the Department of History to see about whether I just needed advising, or whether I needed to re-apply. I saw a board with a list of classes. So, I went back and checked the board. Sure enough, there was a class called “Russian Culture Class”, which looked interesting. So, I told Evelyn about this class, and that it is my goal to take it. So, hopefully, that will speed things along, a little bit. Still no word from Julie Flores. Oh, well. I am getting some Admissions counseling from Evelyn right now, so maybe that is why.

I saw this meme, kind of after the election. I wanted to share this here, so that we can remember that King David was not perfect either. Yet, he continues to have an impact today for millions of people, the world over. The very last sentence is what I want to focus on. We are saved, through Faith, by Grace, and not by our works. That is why we even know who King David is. So, once again, I will be standing by President Donald J. Trump.

Trump is going to propose a Constitutional Amendment, to impose term limits upon Congress. This is great news indeed. Its funny, because I talked to Mr. Hogan about a week before the election, and he was saying we need to impose term limits! “Nobody needs to be there longer than six years” is what Luke had to say. I agree!!

This afternoon, when I started work, I met a new co-worker. His name is Dwayne, he said. He is a level III (he carries a gun), and he asked if I had ever been to the site before. He explained he was looking for a trainee, so I told him I had been working the site for a while. He had on a nice cowboy hat. So, I told him his hat looked nice. I ended up eating at Chick-Fil-A, after which I got a call from dispatch. “Per Miss Kim, you need to go to Dollar Tree”. So, I walked there.

After I while, I realized Miss Kim was not coming. So, I went into Dollar Tree, and I bought Whoppers and some orange juice- Florida Natural. Then, I walked back towards the Game Stop site. After I got there, I went to the bathroom and then got back into my car, and drove over to Dollar Tree. I got back over there, and did another tour (patrol). That was pretty much it.

  • Term Limits! Bye Bye Pelosi!!

    https://www.facebook.com/share/18LM5DTHFc

President Donald J. Trump- recently re-elected, proposes an amendment for term limits for the Legislature. As well, as firing those “faceless” bureaucrats. Trump is going to clean out the Pentagon. I opened up Facebook, and someone shared this video of Trump’s speech, and at the end he makes his proposal for Term limits. Isn’t it beautiful?

Today I requested off from work, for Veteran’s Day. I am going to try, and eat at Outback Steakhouse!! If that doesn’t work, I will try Applebee’s!! I really am looking forward to re-connecting with my buddy, Jack Pena for a victory celebration!

I tried reaching out to my Admission’s advisor, but I am afraid I will have to go back to the campus again. I need to talk to Admission’s about my transcripts. UTA is requesting my transcripts, but they actually already have them. I am a returning student, that’s why. My Admission’s advisor is Julie Flores. I don’t want to step on anyones toes, but I am trying to get enrolled before January so I can sign up and take the Russian Culture class.

Speaking of Russian culture. I decided to share a song with you. It was my first ever Youtube, and I would listen to it on repeat!

It’s the Soviet National Anthem 1967. As I pointed out earlier, this was my first ever YouTube. I would listen to it on repeat, sitting in my Dorm room (Air Force speak for “Barracks”) all the way up there in Misawa, Japan. Ah- those were the days.

There is another one from 1984. It is good also, as it shows various aspects of life in the Soviet Union at that point. Perhaps, when I start my Russian Culture class, I will share this with my professor!

  • I don’t listen to podcasts!!

    Daily writing prompt
What podcasts are you listening to?

But- I would listen to Joe Rogan’s if I did. Can anyone recommend some podcasts?

  • O’ Come All Ye Faithful! Joyful and Triumphant.

At last! America will have her second dose!! Trump 2024!!! Drain the Swamp!!!!

    The Alternator

I want to get into the election, but first let me explain about the alternator. I was at work yesterday, and my alternator went bad. I was sitting in my car, and listening to the radio, when the radio died suddenly. I looked at my dash board, and the battery light had come on. I tried to start the car again- nothing. So, I called my Dad, and texted him, which he didn’t answer at the time. I also went and called “AAA”. This was my second time trying to call “AAA” about the battery in my 2007 Gray Honda Civic.

After I called AAA, and was satisfied they were sending help, I called my Dad. I went and called my Dad again. This time, Dad picked up, and I told him what happened, and that I had called “AAA”. My Dad said he would come out to where I was at. “AAA” showed up, and Dylan from “AAA” helped me to get the car started. But when I started the car, Dylan explained that the alternator was going bad. “It is supposed to be on 13.0”. I watched as the meter he showed me, put the alternator at 8.9. I have no idea what the numbers meant. But I believed Dylan. Conversely, Dylan also showed me the price of having my car towed. He his calculator on his phone showed $216 dollars. Dylan said the voltage on the battery was good.

So, I called Dad and delivered the bad news. My Dad said he would come out and get the battery charged. My Dad drove all the way out to Cockrell Hill Rd., in Dallas and took the battery to O’Reilly Autoparts Store, to charge it. At O’Reilly’s they told him the battery was dead, so he took it to Wal-Mart and they tasted it as well, and gave him a new battery on warranty. Meanwhile, he left me with his charger so I could charge my phone. How generous of my Dad to do that, I was very grateful.

I called work, and told them I could not work the next day, because of my car problems. I think it was good timing, from God, because I was not sure what to expect the following day, as it would be the day after the election. The first time Trump won, there was some rioting. So, it just seemed fitting that I would have the day off, on the day after the election with Trump running. Dispatch had me e-mail HR to let them know I needed off, and they took me off the schedule for the next day.

At 8PM my shift ended, and my Dad, who had gone to eat, came back and waited for me to get started. I started the car, not sure if it would start. Then, I noticed the battery light was still on. So, I rolled down the window and let my Dad know about it. He said, “You have about thirty or forty minutes of battery to make it home”. So, I started driving, and Dad followed me.

When we got back to town, I stopped at 7/11, and bought Doritos, coffee, and cigarettes. I knew I needed them- it was election night. I got back in the car and it started again. It was time for my favorite part of the evening- time to watch the election unfold.

    The Trump Victory

I watched the election alright. It was interesting how the night unfolded. It went in Trump’s favor, and never changed. Harris never managed to rise above Trump’s electoral numbers. The news casters on Fox, were showing a strong Trump lead in the popular vote as well. Then, the Republicans took several Senate seats, so that the Senate and House are now under Republican control, instead of tied. I knew Trump’s chances were good- but I never saw such a smooth election before. I kept expecting something to happen- I must admit, this whole ordeal with Trump has been quite riveting to me. I did not stay up the whole night, I made a Deep Dish pizza, ate part of my Doritos, and watched the election unfold for a few hours. Fox seemed to fixate on the Senate races. One race that didn’t go as I wished it had, was Kari Lake. She would have been a feisty senator. Ted Cruz won his race against Collin Allred. I went to bed, because I knew I had to wake up the next day, and get the alternator fixed.

    Back To The Alternator

So, my alarm went off about 8 AM, and I woke up. But I planned to sleep, but at about 8:30 my Dad woke me up. He said it was time to get the alternator fixed. So, my Dad called Milt’s and the lady said she would see that we got right in, that day. Meanwhile Dad and me, began discussing the election, and I checked online- everything looked good- it was a Trump victory! Trump carried 277 electoral votes.

This was me, for my victory smoke! What a long four years, I knew I had earned one, in celebration of the Trump Victory. Trump was now going to taking out the garbage that was Biden Harris:

We got to Milt’s. After a few minutes of waiting around, the mechanic explained it would cost over $500 to replace the alternator. It ended up being $542.00, and some cents. It was expensive, but at least I won’t have to worry about the alternator going out for a while. I enjoy driving the Honda Civic, but that little ordeal was unnerving, but God took care of me the whole time. I even got to watch the election unfold.

Trump won the electoral college with 277 votes. Then, Trump also won the popular vote, to boot. So, Trump has a mandate now. I think the next four years are looking up! I am applying back to school as well.

    Back to School

Last week, I applied back to UTA. I had some trouble submitting my application, so I decided to go to the campus and see if I could get some help- or if it was possible that I didn’t need to re-apply. But the History department told me I had some kind of hold on my account. The History advisor recommended I speak with Admissions. So, I went to Admissions, and they started helping me with my application, and confirmed for me that I even needed to re-apply. Which I did, so they had my log in. I did, and the two students tried to help me figure out what was wrong with my application- why it wasn’t letting me submit it. Then, another lady came out, her name was Evelyn Sanchez, it turned out.

Evelyn Sanchez helped me figure out what was wrong with my application. A box was not checked correctly, so she guided me back into my application, to exactly where I needed to be, and had me check the box. I did, and then I was able to submit my application. She gave me her card, and congratulated me. She also told me I could submit my DD-214 to her, and she would make sure the Admissions fee was waived. A nice gesture. Also it will save me money!

This week, I received my e-mail from Julie Flores, who is my admissions counselor. She told me if I have any questions, I can e-mail her. But I think I will go back by the Admissions office and talk to them, because its saying I need my transcripts, but I am actually re-applying. So, hopefully I won’t need them. I e-mailed Julie asking about this matter, and she has not e-mailed me back yet, so I will try e-mailing her again tomorrow, giving her the scoop, and also perhaps giving her my student ID number. If she doesn’t reply, I may have to contact Admissions again, and make sure I am squared away in this matter of my transcripts. I don’t want to have to retake classes if I don’t need too.

Well, that is all. My alternator is fixed. Trump won. It also looks like I am starting back to school. I am also working full time, so I am very excited about the next four years.

    God Bless America!!!
