  • My Favorite Board Game

    Daily writing prompt
What’s your favorite game (card, board, video, etc.)? Why?

Is Axis and Allies. Billy used to play that game with me- one time when we went hunting with our Dads, we packed it along. In between hunting episodes we would play.

  • 90.9 KCBI

    Daily writing prompt
What do you listen to while you work?

It is a Christian listener supported radio station. They play music, sermons, and Bible lessons. You can also hear Focus On The Family too. Oh, and June Hunt with Hope For The Heart. I appreciate how she treats the individuals who call in. It reminds me of Art Bell.

anyways, I started listening to KCBI in 2015. Right before Grams died, after I got out of the NAVY. I was sad, and eager about the future. So, I had been listening to a non-Christian station, and decided to find a Christian one. The very first station I found was KCBI. It was pretty good! So, I just kept listening to it. Sometimes, because I smoke, I have the window down and it’s blaring. Other times I have had KCBI really low.

Now days, they have an app. It’s free and they have a website. So, occasionally, like when I was in Washington, I would listen on the app. But the app cuts out after a while. But that’s ok, I just open it again later and it continues playing KCBI. Which gets me through the day!

Thank you for reading this. God bless you!

  • My Week

So, this week has been filled with nothing but work. I have had little time to enjoy World of Warcraft. I have not read much either. I invested in an unfruitful relationship with a young woman. Unfortunately, things did not work out. I feel, she may have just been after money. She wanted $25. Of course, with my current finances I could not oblige. She asked me not to contact her again. This is unfortunate to me.

This happened Wednesday night. It was just after I got paid. But I have bills to pay, so I could not oblige her. I really wanted to though. I really felt she was my link to experience a certain kind of life. She was pretty, and very savvy.

I started back on my course with Hillsdale College. Hillsdale college offers free college level courses, on different subjects. One of which, I took was Ancient Christianity. It took a while, but finally we ended up at St. Augustine, who wrote “The City of God”, insinuating that though, Rome had fallen, the City of God is eternal. He also pointed out, that Rome had fallen once before. The work, was based on Psalm 48. I wanted to share a particular passage from that Psalm, that the professor read:

    Psalm 48:4-7

The Kings have gathered. They march together. When they saw Mount Zion they were astonished. They were terrified and ran away in fear. Trembling seized them like the trembling that a woman experiences during labor. With the east wind you smashed the ships of Tarshish.

I shared this, because as I mentioned, City of God by the author St, Augustine was based on this Psalm, and this particular passage. So, descriptive of how God deals with His enemies- He doesn’t have to do anything. They will tremble in fear, when they witness him.

I also learned about the back and forth between the sons of Constantine. Constantine the II, Constance, and Constan who all were fighting for the throne. To be emperor of Rome. I also learned in detail about Constantine’s vision of Jesus, telling him to conquer under this sign. The sign of the cross was emblazoned on the shields of his soldiers- and he won the Battle. Also the Edict of Molan. Which granted tolerance towards the Christians, for the first time in the West, and in the Roman Empire. This change was warranted, said the professor, because of the profound influence of Christians throughout the Roman Empire. They were soldiers, and courtesians who all worshipped Jesus now. But Constantine did not become baptized until he was on his death bed.

Also, Constantine founded his capital, not in Rome, but in the city of Constantinople. Which he built, for his name sake. This city was later captured by the Ottoman Empire in 1453! It was renamed Istanbul. Because I ended up discussing the story of Constantinople and Istanbul, I guess it is only fair to share this song:

Thank you for reading my blog! God bless you. Enjoy the music.

  • Neither

Dogs and cats can both have fleas. They are both terrible creatures, that require maintenance. My one qualm with cat owners- they put cats on a leash. That’s got to be animal cruelty.

  • Playing Blizzard’s

World of Warcraft. When I say it, sometimes, I even forget to go smoke. It is fairly obvious from my description that I am hooked on World of Warcraft.

I just finished listening to Robert Jeffress. He encouraged his listeners to study and understand Revelations. He says there is a blessing in doing so. Robert Jeffress is really the only one who discussed the rapture. It’s not found in Revelations. It’s found in 2 Thessalonians.

John MacArthur died yesterday. Though there is much sadness on Earth, there is rejoicing in Heaven! He had a tremendous impact on me, as I could see he had a talent and a gift for teaching the Word of God. Something John MacArthur would discuss, is that churches will not discuss sin. Yes, they mention it, but in abstract. They need to go into detail.

For example, Paul discussed sexual sin a lot. That’s is why I am still a virgin. But the churches need to teach this, so that people will understand, sexual sin is no joke with God. But God offers mercy. Through His Son Jesus who took away the sin of the World. Call on His name, and you will be saved!! God bless you, and thank you for reading.

  • The Fact That

    Daily writing prompt
    What bothers you and why?

We are living in the End Times! My question is, when does Jesus return? But yes, I believe we are living in the end times. I am not the only one who thinks this. Julia Jeffress Sadler, on her podcast dated Wednesday, August 28th, 2024, she did a podcast named “We’re Living In The End Times” and it is not a question. This is the title of an interview, also called “Asked the Pastor” where she asks the pastor, her Dad Robert Jeffress questions.

Originally, it was called “Stump The Pastor”. She explained, that at a previous church they would host this. So, its interesting to hear Robert Jeffress answers to these questions. I guess this was the final podcast of Julia’s. She titled her podcast, Unapologetic. It is interesting!

Anyways I am just going to enjoy the podcast. But he reassured the listener that children, go to Heaven.

  • It Rained And Got Hot On The Same Day!!

I woke up, this morning, it was raining. Pouring really. I was impressed, thought we might get flooded out. But then, it got hot! Almost all the water is dried up.

Tonight I have to go to work. I start at 9PM, in Garland, Texas. Soon, I will start heading towards there. My Dad suggested taking the George Bush Turnpike, said it goes straight to Garland. It is at an apartment complex. But for now, I am letting my phone charge.

I really enjoy my phone. It has a lot of memory (120gigbytes). I have a lot of images saved on there. The battery is a little bit weak. But as with all Androids, its very sturdy. SOmetimes, I throw my phone. I had an Apple, once, through it, and guess what? The phone shattered!

The Apple iPhone is not cheap. So, everyone reading this knows, I lost a lot of money. I only had that phone for about a month. I wish I had known better. I enjoyed listening to music on it. But, I don’t remember that much about it, as compared to the Android. I found myself confused.

Anyways, enough about phones. I am writing this- and I have a lot of memes on my phone, and on Google Photos. Maybe I will share one of those. Before I do that, I want to share a link for a publication I sometimes see, on iCampus.

    https://www.icr.org/article/15334/

Although not all seed will come to fruition, it must be sown throughout the world.

It is from the Institute for Creation Research. The article is titled “The Good Seed”. It describes the “Seed” as being some of the imagery the Bible uses. To describe God’s Word, and the Gospel. The message of hope!

Sadly, John MacArthur is in the hospital. He is not expected to recover, and the service at GCC (Grace Community Church) in San Diego, was delivered by someone else. I was not familiar with them. But I watched a video, in which prayers were offered for John, and his family! Soon, it seems, John MacArthur will be in the presence of the Savior!

Speaking of California. We have been bamboozled once again. So, in 2020, it was ok to loot, riot, and burn. But when Americans went and stood with Trump, peacefully, that was called an insurrection. Once again, they were trying to pull that same stunt. But as we see from this image, the riots in Los Angeles are anything but peaceful. It is clear, that the Mayor and the Governor, have lost control of the once great city of Los Angeles. People have begun calling for them to change the location of the Olympics! Pray for Los Angeles. God bless America!

  • Adventure

    Daily writing prompt
Are you seeking security or adventure?

I am supposed to go to Cave City, Kentucky in August for SpiracyCon. I had a small set back. But I should still be able to go. I want to meet Jon Pounders and David Carrico. Thats the main reason I am going. After the conference, I will still be off. So, I am going to try and go to Florida as well. We will see how things are going with the finances then, though.

  • A Debate

Last night I got to be in a debate about Islam. It was pretty cool. I wanted to say so many things, but I stuck to my main talking points: Ban the burqa!! Tax the mosques!! Christianity is illegal in the countries they originate from. That is why.

Anyways, the debate was streamed live on twitch and Discord was the platform we used. It was so exciting!
