I worked last night. Then I went and got a massage. I also went and tried to visit my Mom, but she was still working. Well, she wasn’t home. Maybe she was at Wal-Mart. Anyways, as I was about to go into my Mom’s, I got a call from Kroger Pharmacy, my medicine was ready. I got it from the dentist. I play World of Warcraft for a bit, but I have just now been on Facebook sharing memes.

After I worked I went straight home to bed. I did not even stop to eat, as I normally do. It was already warm in the morning. Later in the day, it threatened rain, just after I made my stop at Kroger. I even heard thunder while I was out smoking.

I woke up at 3:45 PM, and after my cigarette, decided to take a shower. I planned to go get a massage today, so I did not want to be smelly. I spent about ten minutes in the shower, rinseing off, and then using soap. I shampooed, and then stood under the warm water for a while. It was so relaxing, a nice pre-massage activity. If you want to get a massage, I suggest beforehand, take a shower. After I got out of the shower, I made sure to turn off my alarm, so it would not interrupt my massage. I got to the massage place a little after 4PM. I had to pay first, I paid $88.00, because i tipped. I think the massage went a little bit over, because when I looked at the time, when it was time to go, and it said 5:30 PM. The massage was so relaxing, and she made sure to get my feet this time too. As a compliment, she gave me a bottle of water as I left. So sweet.

I decided to try and go visit Mom. As I made my way to my Mom’s house I stopped at 7/11 and got myself a coffee. Then, I went and finally start making my way to my Mom’s house. My Mom lives in Prestonwood Estates. It is very hilly there, so I had to floor it up the hills. But I made it to Mom’s in good time. Mom was not there, but I still went in for a while. Jordan was there, and he said “Hi”, and so was Tate. The dogs were acting crazy, as usual. As I went into Mom’s, my phone went off, and it was from Kroger Pharmacy. My medicine from the dentist was ready for pick up.

I made my way back across town. Kroger is over on Green Oaks and Pleasant Ridge. Despite some traffic it only took about five minutes from Mom’s house to Kroger. As I walked in, I noticed Krispy Kreme Donuts and chocolate muffins. So, after I picked up my medicine, I got those, plus some crackers. For my medicine, they told me to take it three times a day, with food. It looks like it might last about a week. Maybe it will help my teeth to stop hurting for a while. My dentist wants to pull a tooth and do a bone graph.

After I got home, I had my chocolate muffin, and my medicine. I decided to save the donuts for later, when Dad got home. So, I went to sleep for a while. Once I woke up, it was almost 9:30 PM! I wanted to eat at Chick-fil-A so i went there and made it right before closing time. I also listened to 90.9 KCBI. I get a lot of encouragement from that station.

After I had my Chick-fil-A I came home and plugged in my laptop again. I decided to play World of Warcraft on my Dracthyr Evoker. I did a couple of quests, and logged off. I really wanted to spend some time on Facebook. I have made a lot of new acquaintances on Facebook. Like Paul Hogsten and Dan Davis. With Paul, we share memes and discuss politics. with Dan Davis, we discuss the Bible a lot. There are others, but these are the two main ones right now.

This was one of the memes I shared with Paul. I have seen this meme a few times, so this time, I made sure to grab it. I grab memes, because sometimes “A picture is worth a thousand words” as the saying goes. I hope this post finds you well!

A couple of weeks ago, I realized I needed a new laptop. I had been using an ASUS Gaming laptop, for ten years. Plus, the battery on it was no longer any good. It could not hold a charge. So, I bought a new laptop, an Acer Predator Helios 300. I purchased it at Best Buy.

A Couple of weeks ago, I went to Best Buy. I bought a new gaming laptop, the Acer Predator Helios 300. I was unsure of it at first. I noticed it was the cheapest one. That was literally why I bought it. I am really happy with it. It runs World of Warcraft. It has a light up keyboard, to, just like the ASUS has. Here is an image I have of my new laptop.

The keyboard is not lit up, because it is still day light outside. The graphics are really good too. Also, its just nice and new. I am so happy with my purchase. I went and installed World of Warcraft first thing. You need to know, that it had so much power, that I thought to give away my ASUS. Anyways, I just wanted to share a bit about my laptop. This is at my Dad’s house. I took this screen shot right after I bought the laptop. I really am impressed. I had heard things about Acer, but so far its been running really good. I take it even to work. Things were really looking down at the beginning of the year. Max passed away, and my Kia Soul, the engine had a hole in it. But God is taking care of me. I am now 80% with the VA. I have a Honda Civic, and of course, my new laptop.

Now, I am thinking of going on a road trip too. Max is gone, so I no longer have a dog to take care of. As I sit here, smoking, I am thinking of ultimately going to visit Aunt Mary and Billy up in Michigan. But for now, I am going to take baby steps. Next weekend (my weekend is Monday and Tuesday) I am going to spend the night in Wichita Falls, Texas. I was born there, you know. Plus, I saw Elizabeth Newton-John with Jack and Jen, there. After that, I might drive up into Oklahoma before I head home. Of course, I will take my laptop with me. Stay tuned!

i am listening to Dr. Tony Evans on 90.9 KCBI. He is very good to listen too. Right now, he is talking about Jonah. So, it is a fascinating one. You don’t hear much about Jonah now days. Yet, Jesus gave the sign of Jonah. So, its important to know about Jonah, to know what Jesus meant was His sign. If we don’t know that, we won’t know when Jesus comes. The Pharisees, who knew all of scripture, did not even know who Jesus was.

This is something that crosses my mind almost daily, lately, that Jesus said it. When you think about it, Jonah is one of the most uplifting stories in the Bible. God, instead of destroying Nineveh sends Jonah to warn them to repent. While Jonah tried to flee, and ended up in the belly of a fish, eventually, he went to Nineveh, and the city repented.

It stormed today. At first it clouded over, and sprinkled. But then, i was out smoking, and it started to thunder. After it thundered, began to rain heavily. It still rained while it was thundering, but the thunder died down during the heavy rain. It was very good to hear that thunder. We really needed the rain.

Before it rained, i went to visit Scott. He called, and told me to come over, and get the Asperger’s Syndrome information from him. He told me he had to go to work. I went ahead, and got on the road so i could catch him before hand. i started driving at 3:30, and despite the school zones and traffic, i got there at about 3:55, at Scott’s house. Scott had told work that he could not come. The alternator in his car, Big Red, had gone out. So, Big Red was not road worthy. After showing me Big Red’s hood, me and Scott went inside for a bit. I saw his Mom, and said hi. Scott gave me the packet.

After Scott gave me the packet, and realized he couldn’t go anywhere, i offered to get some food with him. I was not sure what he wanted to eat. So, i asked him, and he said Wendy’s. So, we drove to Wendy’s, we had to drive on Cooper. I don’t like driving, and i definitely try to avoid Cooper, but we didn’t have much choice. So, we made it to Wendy’s and at first i pictured us getting our food and going back to his house to eat it. Scott’s house is small, but cozy. But instead, after we ordered in the drive thru, Scott wanted to eat inside.

We ate inside. Scott brought the packet inside. But i had asked him not too. Because i was afraid i would lose it. He seemed to sneak it in. So, i asked him to put it back in the car, which he did, thankfully. i was afraid i would misplace it. After that, we ate, and finished our food. I had the Jr. bacon cheeseburger, and he had a crispy chicken sandwich. After we ate, we headed back to Scott’s house, and i dropped him off and headed home. By then, the school zones were off.

Anyways, that is how my day has been. i don’t post very often, so i just wanted to provide an update.

i just wanted to let it be known, today is Alamo Day. It’s just a quick note to remind my readers, and include this Marty Robbins song.

Dr. Robert Jeffress inspired this title. i really think this is important. Keeping my focus on GOD. i am quick to become distracted by things in my day. A scripture that helps me, to remind me to meditate on the things of GOD is Psalm 1:2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. Dr. Robert Jeffress just started a series on Solomon’s wisdom. He said some very profound things in the series so far.

One of the things Robert Jeffress said, is that the divorce rate is the same in the church, as it is out of the church. He said addiction rates are the same too. Then, he asked this question, “Why is it, that those who look to the next world, struggle in this world”? At the end of his message, Robert Jeffress gave me my title. So, i thought i would write on that verse i just gave.

To meditate on GOD’s law is not just to think about GOD’s law, but is to practice it too. By obeying what it says to do. By obeying his laws, and practicing them, you will keep your focus on GOD. We can only do this, because of the precious work of JESUS on the cross. His blood covers our sins, and we can approach GOD because of that. Righteousness is a product of believing in JESUS. Not of our works. it is always good to focus on GOD.

Even now, listening to a sermon on the radio, it can be difficult to focus on GOD. He is all that matters. He is our provider, and comforter. In the end we need GOD more than He needs us. But even though that is the case, He still sent JESUS to die on the cross, and to rise again. Like it says in the song, “Friday’s disappointment is Sunday’s empty tomb”.

It is the 1 March, 2023. i am just here, writing and tonight i work. Still working in Grand Prairie off of Beltline. i need to remember to fill up on gas. i also need to remember to buy toilet paper. i am down to one roll. i don’t like spending money on necessities, but that is why they are called necessities. This new month has me thrown off. Next year is a leap year. Yay, someone will have there birthday for the firs time in four years.

i just saw a picture of a woman with her gun. She had a big one. i see that more often. When women are buying guns, and showing them off on Social Media, you know that is a sign of the times. Time to buy a gun.

Here is me, with my gun. Its a shotgun. From playing Fallout New Vegas i decided this is the best zombie killer weapon. Not only will it kill a zombie, but it will also knock the zombie flat on its back. Which would give me plenty of time to escape. Yep, its important to have your zombie killer handy these days. Just when you think you won’t need it, you will.

For some reason, i have a roll of Scotch tape on my desk. i am trying to remember how it got here. i am currently listening to Dr. Chuck Swindoll on the radio. It is so comforting hearing his voice, knowing he is talking about JESUS. He who has the Son, has life, is what Chuck has to say tonight. He who does not have the Son, does not have life. i have read some more in The Right Thing. i made it to chapter thirteen.

i have not begun to read the thirteenth chapter in The Right Thing but i did find some pictures in it. The one striking picture, was of the sunken fishing ship, Ehime Maru. It was photographed two hundred feet beneath the surface. So far, the story has not gotten into the wreck between USS Greenville and the Ehime Maru. But i have learned a lot about CMDR. Scott Waddle (Ret.) and his family. Reading his story so far, has me curious if he had met my Uncle Rob, if there paths had crossed at some point.

i showed my Dad the picture. He was not as interested in the picture as i thought he would be. It turns out, USS Greenville was named for the county in Tennessee where Davy Crockett was born. Also, CMDR. Waddle met Fess Parker, at a ceremony in Santa Barbara. Fess Parker used to play Davy Crockett on Television, and in movies. Also, Alamo Day is approaching, so i thought i would share this video:

Now Dr. Robert Jeffress is on. He is discussing Elijah, and the Faithfulness of GOD. Another book i had to look at again was TRUMP Art Of The Deal. i opened it up to a certain page. He wrote about how, when trying to finalize a deal with Hilton, he had to hold back funds, because the computer systems, fire alarms, the sewage, and other aspects of the hotel were not in working order. It is very clear, Trump is a very shrewd deal maker. This is who need as President in our day and age. Trump would not be so smitten by Zelenskyy, as Biden and the rest of the government has been.

See, Trump even had California. The meme cuts it out, but in the original, Hawaii went to Trump as well. i guess those Hawaiians wanted to keep there guns, too. You don’t really see electoral maps for Sleepy Joe Biden. In the end, when it comes to success, we will have to continue to give GOD the credit.

This is the verse from my daily verse in the Holy Bible, King James Version app. Proverbs 3:7 Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil. After the verse is read, there is also an inspiration. i was struck most by the very last line of the inspiration. “Trust in Him and resist all pride- which is a form of evil”. That pride sneaks up on us, and we need to stay away from it. We need to always remember to give the credit, and thanks to GOD for things- including Persephone.

Well, today has been a slow day. i got off work at 6:00 AM, and came home and went to sleep. Scott was going to come over. But Scott ended up going to Costco with his Dad, instead. i told him to have fun. He thinks his Dad is not as cool to be around as my Dad. Aw. i reminded him, to just be patient. It will be ok. i still wish he had come over though.

i am now listening to Dr. Tony Evans, he is discussing Joshua, explaining how Moses had just died. GOD explained to Joshua what He wanted him to do. When you cross over, you will be entering into the land of the Hittites. Success doesn’t just happen, but GOD had given them the land already.

Anyways, i got into a small discussion about Enola Gay with Adam. He claims the Enola Gay was not in Misawa, when it was. i guess the media was to busy cheering on the terrorists, to report on it. But it was historic in its own right.
