My Job Search

I just moved back to Arlington. As soon as I got back I contacted my old employer, DefenseTex. The Major said she could find me work in Arlington. Then, just today, I talked with her once more, and she said she would call me back, as she was in a meeting.

Then, later today, after I talked to Major Wani, Sarah from Goodwill Industries in North Central Texas called me. She told me that she wants to meet tomorrow, to help me with a resume. I have to bring my DD-214. I meet Sarah, tomorrow at 10:30.

After talking to Sarah, I also got an e-mail to sign up for a computer course, for a Cisco Certification. “CCST Network Certification”. So, I will be getting a computer certification. It begins on July 9th and ends September 26th. I have only been in Texas for not even a month, and already I have a lot going on. God has been good to me. He took care of me in Everett, Washington. He is continuing to take care of me in Arlington, Texas. I saw this verse today.

Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus

That to me, means so much. For one, when I read this scripture, I think of my Mom. I also am encouraged in my own walk with Jesus. Well, that is all for now. I have not blogged in sometime, but today I felt I could provide an update. Thank you for reading.
