A Gift

My Mom gave me a gift. She had been saving it, to give to another teacher at school. After over a year, she gave it to me. i ended up using it today. My Dad made it back from the farm. It sounds like he had a good time, with William and his three room mates. They brought there guns out, and did some shooting. There is a revival going on at a place called Asbury. Let us pray that it lasts, and spreads.

Mom gave me a Chick-Fil-A gift card. She did it in just the nick of time, too. i was running out of money, so i went ahead and used it. It still has some money left on it. i will get to eat some more Chick-Fil-A. Yum. Thank you Mom, GOD has used you to provide for me in my need. Maybe one day, i will get a chance to pass it on. She really helped out, big time. This was after she bought me dinner at Cracker Barrel. i forgot to mention it. i was going to try to hold onto it, but i ended up needing it just as soon as i got it.

William didn’t show up at the farm until 4:30 PM. So, Dad was out there for a while by himself. But he did get something done. He re-attached the front tire of his motorcycle, so that is done. After William and his room mates got there, they shot there guns for a while. But it started to get dark. So, they tried to call something up, like a coyote. Another time, one of them shot a boar. They it it in the rear-end. But it didn’t stop, it kept going. It probably went and died somewhere. Later, William and his room mates used there guns to hunt bull frogs. hey even cooked up the frog legs. Dad said the frogs would bounce into the air, when they were hit by the gun. i was at work during all of this. It sounds like and adventure to me.

i am listening to Lion of Judah on YouTube. They are saying that, “GOD will fight your battles”. i really like there channel. It is always convicting, uplifting, and encouraging. i love things like that. i use it for encouragement in my walk with JESUS. GOD has seen our situation before, and He will fight for us. It gives the story of King Jehosephat in 2 Chronicles. i know i am not perfect. No one is, except for JESUS. But i try to warn people away from Hell, and into the safety of JESUS. That is important to me.

i still am so impressed with the book The Right Thing. i like how the author went into his formative years, and i feel i got to learn a lot about him. Like, for example, his father was stationed at Misawa, Airforce Base. So, the author got to experience the same place as me. Which makes it easy to identify with the author. He told a story of his Dad’s, where his Dad, an Airforce pilot, had to eject from an F-100, and how he positioned the plane so it would land in the sea, while he ejected. After he had ejected, the jet turned around, and went for a school. But the jet crashed and exploded into a ball of fire, next to the school. Everyone at the school survived.

Well, anyways, that wraps it up for me, i think. Clearly, there is not much going on, for me, but i am learning to be content. My needs are being provided for. GOD is causing things to work together for my benefit. i am so happy with the way things are going. Thank you for reading my blog.
