Once again, the alternator on the Rodeo went out again. This is now the third or fourth time that the alternator on the Rodeo has gone out. My Dad has intestinal surgery on Wednesday, so i am going to rent a car while he is in the hospital. i took an Uber after work, the other day. But i think cost wise it will be just as well to rent a car. i also joined a new Facebook group.
Below is the Rodeo. The Rodeo’s alternator went out again. i was at work, which is really the only time that i drive the Rodeo. i went to go get a coffee, and sure enough, the brake light and battery light came on just as i turned the corner. i wanted to get back to work incase the Rodeo died. So, i turned around, just short of the QT. But just as i turned on to Commerce, the Rodeo began cutting out.

i called my Dad. He raised to where i was waiting, with the Rodeo. As i didn’t make it back to work, i was stuck waiting in the middle of the road. But my Dad brought a spare battery. He said to drive the Rodeo home. After the spare battery was installed, i started the Rode. It started up just fine. Dad said not to run the A/C, the radio, and to keep from rolling the windows down, to preserve power. We wanted to avoid paying for a tow truck. After driving the Rodeo to the house, my Dad drove me back to work. i made sure to take my charger with me, so i could at least charge my phone.
My Dad has surgery coming up. My Dad has surgery on Wednesday, which is the day after tomorrow. When he was driving me back to work, he suggested renting a car. i said Uber. At least for that night, as i was missing work. i just wanted to get back to work. But my Dad decided to stop at McDonalds. Which turned out to be a good thing, because i was hungry. i ordered the McNuggets meal. The Number 5. Large. i paid for my meal, and my Dad’s cookies and tea that he wanted. After that, we got on I-20 and headed back to Belt Line.
After driving me back to work, my Dad ate his cookies in the parking lot. While, i put my phone on the charger. Then, i ate my chicken nuggets. The fries too. Then, my Dad wished me well, and headed home. i decided to wait to download Uber, for when my phone had charged. So, i did my rounds, and waited for my phone to charge. i had my cooler that Mom had given to me, and an ice pack with a bottled water. My medicine too.
At about 1:30 i was ready to download Uber. i went on Google and looked up Uber, and downloaded it into my phone. i already had an account with Uber. i just had to update my payment method. After updating my payment method i was ready to see what Uber could do for me. i was able to schedule my Uber ride for 6 AM. It even told me who my driver would be, and what car they were driving. My Uber driver ended up being Patrice in a Nissan Altima. It also showed me the price. $47 dollars. i should have rented a car. Nevertheless, i wanted to try out Uber incase i need to take on Uber for school.
At about 0600 my Uber ride showed up. i got in the car, and she explained that the Uber app had turned her around a couple times. Had had her try to go through where she couldn’t turn into, where the gate was closed. i told her that was ok. It actually worked out because i got to leave work on time. My Uber ride started at 6 AM. By 6:26 AM i was already home. My Uber ride went very well. i was half tempted to see if she would stop so i could get food. But decided against that. “At least i have a ride home”, i thought. i was impressed with the convenience of Uber, but the price was a bit high for me. So, i will try renting a car for a week. So, that i can still make it to work. The price is about the same, but not really because it is about $40 dollars per day to rent a car. Whereas just that one Uber trip was $47 dollars. i remembered to tip my driver. She did really welly, i was impressed with her driving and how skillfully she maneuvered her car. i felt safe the entire time. Thank you Patrice, for the lift.
i joined a new Facebook group. The group is led by Christopher Porter. The group is called Rise Of The Christian Phoenix. i am very impressed with it. The group has high quality content that seeks to praise the Lord. My blog is not a Christian or religious blog. But i am a Christian. So, i seek fellowship with other Christians. Especially in these times. The persecution is coming. What we sew, we will reap. i feel it. It is coming. Get ready! If you are on Facebook, and a Christian i recommend checking out Rise of The Christian Phoenix.
My school application is still pending. i am going to attend Maverick Experience Day. That is on October 8, 2022. From 8 AM to 3 PM. The details will be e-mailed to me, two days prior to the event. So, parking, and additional instructions. This is my second Maverick Experience Day. i am going to make sure i never have to apply as an undergraduate ever again. But, when i have graduated and finished my degree, i think i will take a graduate class. Just one, to experience what the graduate level is like.

I found this meme on Tumblr. It tells a story of Trump i have never heard before, from 9/11. The meme is right- you never hear these kinds of stories in the Fake News Media.
Well, that is all for now. i just wanted to update you on the alternator in the Rodeo (again). I also wanted to show you, how my Uber experience went. Pretty good. But it was a tad expensive for a trip from work. i guess this once will be ok, though. Here on out, i am going to rent a car. i also wanted to introduce you to Rise of The Christian Phoenix Facebook Group. Then, i also wanted to share a positive Trump meme. Lord knows, there are not to many of those. Poor Trump, he is constantly under attack from the Fake News. In conclusion, i just wanted to say, “Have a good day”. i hope you enjoyed reading my blog.
