An Eventful Day

Today, I was going to work. Then, all of a sudden, the brake light and the battery light came on. I was in the Isuzu Rodeo. I called my Dad, he told me to let my supervisor know. I called my supervisor, and she recommended I go to O’Reilly’s Autoparts store, to get the battery checked out. Next thing I know, my Dad is calling me again. So, after my supervisor, Major Wani, finished explaining about O’Reilly’s, I called my Dad back. He also recommended Auto Zone, or O’Reilly’s. I stopped, and googled O’Reilly’s. There was one not far from me, on Park Row and New York.

I went to the O’Reilly’s and asked them to check my battery. Instead, the attendant ran a diagnostics check. After I got the print out, I had to go find another attendant to check on the battery. After the attendant checked the battery, he confirmed what we suspected. The alternator on the Rodeo was bad. But the battery was good. I called my Supervisor, and let them know I would not be able to make it in to work, because of my car trouble.

After letting my supervisor know I could not make it back to work. I went ahead, and started heading home. The battery in the Rodeo was still good, so I could stop and eat somewhere. Instead, I stopped at Pizza Hut. I got a large hand tossed pepperoni pizza, and two Pepsis. One Pepsi for me, and one for my Dad. I still have some of the pizza, and once I finish this post I am going to warm some up, and eat it.

A few minutes ago, Scott called. He offered to help, if I need it, in working on the Rodeo. But I let him know, I have a shop I am going to take it too. The shop is on Arkansas, in a yellow building. Or, to Bob Taylor’s. He sometimes works on the Rodeo. Scott told me, he had a doctor’s appointment tomorrow, but after that, he could help.

I went ahead, and finished my pizza. I wish I had some more Pepsi. That Pepsi goes real good with pizza.

The Convoy

In Canada the truckers there are holding a “freedom Convoy”. I am including some of the images I found, from the Facebook Group “Freedom Convoy 2022 Support”, which has thousands of members.

A child in Hungary draws and colors a picture of a truck. The strain on truckers has been huge since the beginning of the pandemic. They were the most at risk.

According to one commentator, these men were giving out hotdogs from the bed of there truck.

Fox News recently covered this event. A part of the convoy, is to protest the “vaccine” mandates. I just thought I would share some of the images, as a token to what they, the truckers, are trying to do.

Also, yesterday, on January 29, 2022 President Trump held his rally in Conroe, Texas. He gave quite a speech. Saying to keep an eye on China, post- the winter Olympics.

Beijing Olympics and Persecution

I saw an article about this. Where, in the PRC, the winter Olympics are to take place. The communists are trying to put there best foot forward. Meanwhile, they continue to persecute the Chinese Christians. Please remember to pray for them, as no doubt, the persecution will continue during the Olympic games. I could not find the story on it, but I did mention it here. The PRC government regularly closes house churches, and in recent times, has begun arresting house church leaders.

Well, it is time for a cigarette. I hope you enjoy reading my blog. Thank you.
